So, trying these out with a pair of ballet boots. I need to level out the heels as i used to do, but otherwise the toe pads felt pretty good on a test walk

They are high but quite stabil. Quiet also so even though I had them fully exposed they didn’t seem to draw attention.

it it is funny how we start off trying to find places with less people, when that allows you to stand out. Crowded areas actually tend to be better as people are too busy doing whatever they are doing to do anything if they see someone that stands out. 

Wedge's would have been more practical, just saying....

Just ordered these, the Timberland Glancy 10". I have these in the ankle boot form and they have been great. I wear them exposed all the time and are comfortable for longer walks. These will be good when visiting colder friends.

I’ve seen a male sales assistant at a Saks wearing heels to work in the women’s shoe section. He spotted me wearing heels and seems to want me to try on anything they had in my size.

I work for the family business and while my parents found out I liked heels while I was growing up I’ve not pushed to make it a public thing with them.

Our generator is dead but I was able to borrow my parents. Also helped a neighbor with some power since they were trapped.

Yea, we got power Friday, but almost had water in the house. Several cars and my husbands truck were written off by insurance due to water issues

Hi everyone, been quiet here, but busy in Southwest Florida. After a lot of pressure from friends and my husband I secured the house and evacuated ahead of the storm. While a pain it might have been good as the eye went right over our neighborhood. While we got lucky that the house was ok we did get back to find bad flooding and a lot of damaged landscaping. Thankfully I have knee high Hunter Lapuns and Champery boots to keep my feet clean and the work interesting

I hope everyone else affected is ok.

Michael Kors Susan Flex pump. Leather upper with rubber sole/heel tip. So far comfortable and quiet. These might be my practical go to shoes for a bit as with 'feels like' temps over 100, boots are getting a bit warm.

Good luck, I've just recently got a pair of those and they stress the tendons on the front of my ankle within 30 minutes even without walking. Keep us updated

Finally got a pair. They seem to fit big, so go down at least one notch 

I have a pinched nerve on the top outer joint behind my big toe on my left foot that I think was caused by trying to "break in" too many new pairs of shoes/boots in a short time frame. Ooops. 

New boots, 3.75"

We've gotten several inches of rain this week, so my red rubber Sorel wedges are getting a lot of use.

Find 4.5" heels as the next step, after 4" every half inch is as bad as the previous inches. I can walk ok short distances in 5" right now, am starting to be able to straighten my knee's at 5.5", but the 5.75 and 6" I still have to have my knees bent
