I think it is a nice piece, and I think I would be challenged to find something like that at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart clothes are usually slapped together with no attention to detail. On this piece, the lines on the pattern of all the fabric pieces line up nicely, etc. But yes, a good tailor can also put this together for a fraction of $2600.
But why would you?

That is the one thing that prevents me from ordering a pair of shoes from a place like Italianheels or Fuss or Peter Chu. I'm willing to waste a small amount of money taking a chance on ebay or Poshmark, but once you get up there into the 200 dollar range, mmmm. That kind of hurts if it doesn't work out.
There's a Peter Chu in the Duty Free Zone at Sydney Airport. I got dropped off early as one of my cousins was on his way to work. Since I had 3 hours to kill, I wanted to try on some of the heels. But they only had up to size 8. The saleswoman said she was a size 9 and can't try them on herself.
Now if these Madden boots had full zippers ....

You win some, you lose some. I'm batting a 0.000 too. One pair, size 10 was too small and size 11 was too large. But there hasn't been anything I was really interested in this years shoes.

I should have said weeds. I save my water for my fruit trees and vegetables.
During a severe drought year, one of my neighbors spray painted her dried out yellow lawn dark green.
Those green throw rugs make excellent backyard putting greens.

My heels were really starting to blister. Not only was the platform of the shoes making it hard to walk, but now my heels were really in pain, and I was having a hard time going anywhere. .... Nonetheless it was a fun time.
Sorry @kevloveheel, but you need to work on your definition of fun.

My neighbors think I'm nuts, but I'm harder on my heels than I am on my sneakers.
My neighbor's friend (dog walking buddy) asked me yesterday why I wasn't mowing my lawn in heels.

They must want a pair for themselves.

It's also cheaper, why spend money on someone who can't cope with "her man wears heels." I not into bait and switch. If a woman does that I'm out the door. You can't start a relationship based on a myth.

So I have a dating profile in which I state that I often wear 4+ inch heels for pain relieve. Better to know up front...why would I waste my time (and money) pursuing a women who couldn't handle it.
Here's an excerpt from last night: "I’m not sure I’m totally comfortable with that, maybe I’m weird but my mental picture looks like a lady boy like we see in Thailand,...."
She's too closed minded, too conservative/traditional in her thinking. Better to know now than later.
