I've gotten into the animal print scene with leopard print sherpa, hoodie, face mask, and skinny jeans as well as foil snakeskin print pants.

But I'm staying away from animal print heels. Maybe a purple crocodile or a multi-color snake boot.

I just checked Jessica Simpson site and I saw the first new knee high boot in months.  Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for some), you don't see the bottom half in ZOOM meeting. I know many are in slippers while I have stilettos on. So I don't expect a large collection this year.

Yesterday it was in Central California. Today it was at the ATM outside the bank.  This woman had wedges, 2 inch platform 5 or more inch heels. She spotted my wedges and she knows I spotted her looking.

Let's hope for a three-peat.

Today I was traveling and stop by a Starbucks in the mid of central California. Two women walked out and they noticed my heels, they didn't say anything but I know they saw them by  the look on their faces.  One was in thongs, the other had 3+ inch heels. So women in heels is not a rare as a unicorns.

You are correct sir, I just measured my Jessica Simpson stilettos and they are only 3/16" by 13/32". I think my Victoria's Secret stilettos are much smaller.  I had carpet, but when the water pipe broke under the house and flooded everything I had to rip it up, so I have concrete floor until I get my new house built. Hoping for bamboo floors and tile.  In normal times, I would take off my heels when I got home after 15 hours in them. But now I struggle to wear (and walk in) heels for 4 or 5 hours a day. My body demands more time in heels. I spend over 40 hours just sitting and working  on my computers the last 3 days.  That's what happens when you open many cans of worms at once and the big fish "upstairs" bite and when your work servers get blown out by a power shutdown. Right now I am on a 3 hour hold at 10 pm, the server that houses the LMS  is overwhelmed and has screwed up my files.  Working from home is so much fun.

Really, now you tell me after I bought all those super skinny jeans and stiletto heels.  

But padding under carpets can make stilettos unstable because of the slight variation in the density of the padding. So I like hardwood floors and radiant heat. Rugs are okay.

It's liberating when you let go of this concern. Yes you will run into someone you know at some point, but that's just part of being public with your heeling. Forget-about-it!

You will be stared at, pointed at, but if you fold then it's like you are conceding you are doing something wrong. You're not.  So walk with your head high but watch where you put your heel down.
