  2. I'm not a woman but I have done this so I can understand this behavior.

In the late 70' early 80's I acquired a pair of lace up shooties from my first wife. I have no idea what size they were, but they were tight on my feet. I LOVED those shoes. Favorite dress shoes by far. I wore them into the 90's, then about 1995 they disintegrated on day.

trying them on while in store - isn't that we do when we buy 'normal' shoes?

I glad you had the opportunity to try on shoes in a shoe store. I like to try heels on before I buy, went shopping this week and almost bought some booties that lace up the back of the heel.

BUT, my heels are my "normal" shoes.

more research: Lady fashion lace up bow boots

They come in black or brown, CHEAP $38 out of hong kong

I know the ribbon laces are too much for me. But it has the high heels and the lace up. If you didn't lace it all the way up I think you could get the "fold out" in the original photo/image.

    Anyone dealt with Cute Kawaii {harajuku fashion}

hiding in the back of your closet

    Why are you hiding heels...LOL

I bought book cases (3 so far) and made extra shelves so I can walk into my closet and see all my heels and select what I will wear that day.

    SF,

"Don't need" is a terrible reason for passing up a pair of beautiful heels, especially if they're not expensive. Heck, none of us NEEDS heels. We WANT them, yes, and for lots of different reasons, but NEED? Nah, I don't think so.

Just yankin' your chain. Go back and see if the shoes are still there. Buy them! Payless needs more male customers for their women's shoes. Help them out and help yourself!

    :-P

    Steve

    Sorry Steve,

NEED my heels. I wear heels most of the time I wear shoes.

    AND

I'm in a don't need situation with many of the heels I have. I have over 40 heels, which I think is enough.

I have enough boots right now - 9 pair,

    I have enough wedge sandals.

But if there is a pair I just have too have, like the blue suede booties In my bag at Steve Madden, then I'll still will buy them.

I wear heels, buy heels, but don't collect them.

  7. Good. But it's holographic! Why hide it.

"Bikini Bottoms is a wonderfully vivid magenta pink holographic polish with a delicious blue hue that is sure to please!" --  ILNP

I just learned that you can mix gel and regular polish. I had to go to an event where my fingernail polish would distract from the event. So after I had my base gel, my color gel (Izzy wizzy let's get busy) and my gloss top coat, she put a regular matte finish on. So after the event I could use regular nail polish and remove the matte finish easily and get back my normal nails.

So at my next pedi I plan to sandwich a holographic between a base gel and a glossy top coat gel.

  8. Learn from the experience, but don't dwell in it.  You are very young and sometimes when young people get together and one see what's out there, they change. You said that her family was strict and her family liked you.  Maybe this is more about getting away from their control.

You are close to completing a good degree, concentrate on that. Then when you finish get that job and start over.

You are young and more women at your age are okay with it. I'm in my 60's and although there are women that are okay with me in heels, it not okay for their boyfriends.  And they call themselves open minded and want somebody who can think out of the box.
