I love the shoes, the Seduce range has a nice selection to chose from. But I've grown accustomed to Pleaser's Domina range these days, through sheer accident as I learned they fit my feet so well. Going down an inch feels like going back in my case.

I know the feeling. I love my 2 pairs of Dominas (although one is 6" and the other is only a little over 5 1/2"), and walk a lot in them for practice. For such a high heel, they fit my feet well, are well made (for $40 shoes), good padding, and are easy to walk in. Love them.

Ain't happening in time. Looks like 6" or bust for New Year's... I wouldn't have faith with 7" heels on hardwood flooring in a week's time.

Plus, by walking any other way you can't really walk gracefully as you can't pivot your weight through each step right...

I agree that shaving your thighs would help the silicon grips keep the stockings up, but saying this, I sometimes have trouble having them stay up also. I have very large legs (30" thighs) so I usually have to go 1X Queen (I'm just over 6' tall). So, if I absolutely need to keep up the stockings, I will wear a garter, which is kinda fun anyways. You can probably find better quality stockings at Confilon.com...
