Had fun with this one.
The old "4-plate squat"...very nice! Tried for a while (in my heel repression days) for a 4-plate bench and fell about 40lbs short...LOL

I, too, am at a point in my foot flexibility where I can walk in 7" heels fairly straight knee'd, and will be getting a pair of ballets in the next month or so to try it. Judging by the angle of the foot in pics I've seen, I'd say a shoe like the Sadist would require a much more severe ankle angle than most ballets I've seen.

Dave, first off, steel toe's aren't exactly the best winter boot either...LOL Second, I would think (it's pretty cold and snowy here in NH) that the girls who do wear such flimsy footwear this time of year ar only outside for short periods (i.e. someone dropped them off at the front...). I, presonally, like it as I'd hate to always see ugly boots all the time.

As someone who wishes to walk in such heels the same, I find those videos quite inspirational...

Dawn, That could be where Danny, the 6-2, 360lb other bouncer comes into play...LOL

Which job is this, SS? A new one or where you are a bouncer?
Call center rep I started after landscaping finished in late-ish November. I've worked the off season there before. My sister works there...
To her "horror" (she's funny about it) everyone there knows about my heeling...LOL
I would wear them bouncing, but a guy in 5+" stilettos, somehow, may not be as intimidating...LOL

Thanks for renewing the thread in style, Newfie!

One word for those...HOT!!

Impressed...as usual! I don't think I'd show my thick legs like that...LOL

Most (now all) of the people where I work now know I wear them, and it took very little arm twisting to get me to wear my JS slingbacks in (with long black jeans) last Thursday. Since I work all night (into the early morning) and the place is fully carpeted, only the people looking knew. But, the bathrooms are tile floored, so I was nervous going in...but luckily noone was there. Still, I may do it again, provided this darned snow will stop...

Hello and welcome.

Why didn;t you wear your high-heeled cleats? LOL

Here are two pictures of my favourites, not quite as steep as Stilettoscot's though.
Beautiful shoes my friend!!

Unfortunately, sound of heels goes through buildings well, so you are heard. Thing is, you have to remind yourself that noone will care at all....trust me. But, yes, chances are your neighbors (especially below) do hear you.

Quite a few times I've been asked if the shoes are for me, but never from an embarrassed assistant. BUT, the only time I was in DSW (last month), the girl at the register was a bit weirded out, but the second and third time I went up to her she seemed OK. I obviously didn't hide the fact that I was a 6+', 225lb guy trying on delicate heels...LOL

Well, do they make you feel as only high heels can? If so, then most definately!

SQ, I have been so addicted to E-Bay the last couple weeks, it isn't funny! Nice boots my friend!!

Getting my replacement pair of Sadists back yesterday, I found out that the Outrageous' heels are about 1/4" shorter than the Sadist's heels, and how much harder that extra 1/4" makes them to walk in. Plus, I have been walking down cellar with my Outrageous' and yes, while it is harder a bit and the heel does flick quite a bit, it wasn't quite as hard as I thought. Certainly not too bad so that in a couple months I wouldn't feel, with practise, I can't walk outside in them. Also, this week, I'll be getting the Playful, Scandelous, and 6 +" Doll Pump from Hollywood Heels, a Pair of red Screams, and (the pair I can't wait for) Ellie 6 3/4" D'Orsays. Can't wait!

To me it's not so much about "too much" in terms of heel height (the more the merrier to me...LOL), I just am not into the lack of a toe box as much...
-
I have to wait a week or two for my next armada of heels to come in via mail to see and judge...LOL Those red heels are absolutely gorgeous!!

Much better excercise than conventional walking for sure. When you arrive after a long jaunt, is your heart rate up?
