Ellen-Jay Posted October 15, 2004 Author Posted October 15, 2004 I'm ALWAYS good! --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
patentlicker Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Ellen Jay, absolutely love those shoes with the red and white bands to break up the black patent leather, (you've got gorgeous legs as well). Where can I get them from?
Ellen-Jay Posted October 15, 2004 Author Posted October 15, 2004 The shoes are made by Pure - I got them from an outlet clothes store (not a dedicated shoe shop) They seem to be most people's favourite here, so I may have some more photo's taken - maybe in my car? Thank you for the compliment. Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Heelfan Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 As I suggested to you earlier Ellen-Jay, I DO hope you can see your way clear to having some full-length shots taken whilst clicking along a hard pavement, patio or pathway, particularly from the side or rear. Seated and lying-down poses don't interest me (and many other members) to the same extent because they don't put the shoes through their paces, nor do they allow the height of the heels to have that magical effect on the whole posture and swinging walk! Yours in anticipation, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
Ellen-Jay Posted October 15, 2004 Author Posted October 15, 2004 Heelfan. I did read your other post and am well aware that you enjoy the rhythm high heels give to the walk. However any pose can be staged, so the value, in terms of enjoyment, of any photo is in the imagination of the viewer. I'm happy to show my shoes/feet/legs/stockings for people to enjoy on whatever level they choose. But; I am not a model nor do I have any desire to pretend to be one; there are a zillion web sites where professional models can fulfill that need. I'm a real girl, wearing real shoes. I've said before I will have some photo's taken, standing/walking outside, and I will, and I hope you can enjoy them. Full-length shots - ain't gonna happen! (And that's a definite maybe) Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
heellover1907 Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 wow ellen ive just been checking out your stunning shoe collection and i just wanted to say how stunning you look in your heels those red ones with zips and chains are awesome and give just a hint of bondage and i love the clear platforms to typical pole dancer type wear and with legs like yours they sure look amazing lol XX
Guest Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Many others Bob - patience will be rewarded! All good things come to those who wait! I like your new pics, those red shoes are certainly interesting. Do you wear them out?
Ellen-Jay Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 Only got them this week so not had a chance - but I will be wearing them outside certainly. --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Heelfan Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Thank you for the reply, Ellen-Jay! I'm sorry if my "full-length" suggestion went against the grain. In fairness though, you did start this thread specifically to invite our suggestions, and I have been giving my own personal ones as sincerely and constructively as I know how. However, perhaps I can reassure you on a couple of points: Firstly, the majority of members are understandably sensitive about showing their faces. That was not what I had in mind. It is not everyone who is happy to be included on the "Put A Face To The Name" thread which I started on "For Everybody". I suggested rear or side views not only because we could see your heels better than from the front, but also because the wearer can easily avert their face to preserve anonymity. Secondly, I'm delighted to read your comment that you're a "Real girl wearing real shoes", because that's EXACTLY what's lacking when models get roped-in. Many of us have commented on these forums that we're not the slightest bit interested in tarty-looking models exploited into wearing unworn ill-fitting shoes handed to them straight out a a box and used in some contrived pose lying on a pink cushion or whatever and waving shoes with pristine, unworn soles in the air. No, models are a turn-off, and to me the thrill is seeing real everyday people - big, small, tall or short, whether they be girls or the occasional guy enjoying wearing their real high heels in everyday situations just like you, shopping, going to the theatre or whatever. That's what heel-wearing is all about for me. Fantastic! Wahay! The business! That's partly why we all enjoy our member's Heel-Meets so much - everyone enjoying their heel-wearing during a great day of shopping, eating, socialising etc. I've PMd you to see if you'd like to join us on our forthcoming 7th November UK Heel-Meet at Lakeside when about a dozen or more us will be attending in our heels (see "Real Life Meetings" thread). Anyway, in response to your request, all each of us can do is to make our own individual suggestions, and it is naturally entirely up to you whether you take any of them on board. Good luck with your photography, and it will be fascinating to see what you decide to treat us all to! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
shrimper Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Ellen-Jay, I'd also like to see more of you. You don't have to show your face, we respect your anonymity. But rather we would like to see a full figure and the heels. Your legs and feet alone are somewhere between beautiful and sexy. With your heels, especially the yellow sandals, you're a knockout. Show us some more!! Please?
Ellen-Jay Posted October 17, 2004 Author Posted October 17, 2004 Hi guys, Heelfan: Points well made and well taken, thank you. Shrimper: Thank you!! Been shopping today, so have new shoes to share with you over the coming weeks!! Certainly intend to take some shots outside next weekend, as well as some in and around my car. As well as the new shoes hope to show you some of the "old" in new situations. Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Firefox Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Yes you did state you loved having your photo taken, and also asked what shots people would like to see, so you can hardly blame us if we tell you
Dawn HH Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Heelfan:-) I'm with you on everything you said, and I couldn't have said it better myself. I like to use all of my shoes and boots outside in everyday out and about use as that is what they were manufactured for in the first place. Patentlicker:-) Is that you in your new Avatar? Inquiring readers would like to know. Ellen-Jay:-) We know that you are a girl that really loves wearing heels and we are a bunch of guys that love looking at your pics of you in those heels, new or old. Anxiously awaiting your pics of your new shoes. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
patentlicker Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Hi everybody, no that is not me in my avatar. I kindly asked Vivienne, when she was posting if I could use one of hers, and she said yes much to my delight. I think it is brill.
Ellen-Jay Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Bought these colourful 4" yesterday, hope you like! Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Rob Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Excellent pics Ellen-Jay! I especially likew the first and second ones. Great shoes, and excellent poses! Thanks.
Dawn HH Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Patentlicker:-) Vivenne has a fantastic pair of legs and feet in your Avatar pic and I can see why you would want them for your Avatar. Excellent choice. Ellen-Jay:-) Thanks for the excellent pics of your new shoes. All of those colors will allow you to fit any number of different colored out-fits with them. Does the fact of having one side of the shoe missing make any difference in being able to walk normally in them or not? I was thinking about support for the foot and balance for the ankle. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Steve B Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I like the last pic the best. Imagine that! Black 5-inch stilettos - the only way to go!
Ellen-Jay Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 Dawn HH:-) the asymetric shape has no affect on balance or walkabililty - these are in fact the same shape as the black/red/white patent shoes I have - and from the same shop. --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Dawn HH Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Ellen-Jay:-) Thanks for the heads-up on the balance and walkability of your new shoes. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Heelfan Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Hello again Ellen-Jay! To illustrate what I was saying about liking full-length shots of ordinary everyday people (not models!) publically street-heeling in everyday situations, I invite you to log-on to these ones which are typical of my favourites: http://jennyspage.co.uk/streetheels/street.htm http://jennyspage.co.uk/jane/jane43.jpg http://s03.imagehost.org/view.php?image=/0064/275_7581.jpg http://s02.imagehost.org/view.php?image=/0516/316_1676.JPG http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?t=3295&highlight=putting+face+name http://jennyspage.co.uk/sally.jpg I hope they might inspire something similar from you, if we're very lucky! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
Dawn HH Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Heelfan:-) You sure pulled up some interesting pics of shoes in everyday life. I'm like you in that I prefer to see shoes or boots used in everyday life, not posed on models with unworn soles. That way they are being used for the purpose that they were manufactured for. Keep up the good work. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Ellen-Jay Posted October 22, 2004 Author Posted October 22, 2004 Heelfan: I do believe I've previously said I take your point. The only inspiration you're providing is not to post any photos again. Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
chris100575 Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Ellen-Jay, please don't let Heelfan put you off. We have precious few female members, and fewer still who are prepared to post pics. I love the ones you've posted for us, and I'm sure I'm not alone. Chris
Heelfan Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Oh Dear Ellen-Jay! Now you've got me totally baffled! Maybe I'm missing something, but for the life of me I can't see how my enthusiastic posting of a few ordinary folk street-heeling could possibly put you or anyone else off adding shots of themselves and their heels into the melting pot! I was only illustrating my answer to your original question in the best and most encouraging way I know how. They always say that "A picture speaks a thousand words!". If for some reason those pics had the opposite effect to that intended, and I've dampened your original keeness in any way at all, I can only apologise and crawl back, somewhat mystified and bewildered, under my stone. All I can say is, with the utmost sincerity, that I really do welcome you to these forums, I enjoyed your first heel-shots and would like nothing better than to see you blossoming forth with more! Yours withverybest wishes, and in friendly and hopeful anticipation, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
chris100575 Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Heelfan, it's because you initially asked her to post full length shots, and she said no. Then you posted examples and added "I hope they might inspire something similar from you". This sounds like you're trying to push her. I apologise if this wasn't your intention, but it's how it came across to me and it seems like Ellen-Jay felt the same way. Not digging here, just explaining. Chris
jo Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 The red sandals with chains and back-zip are very naughty! I saw some like that in TK Maxx earlier in the year too.
Dawn HH Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Ellen-Jay:-) Please don't let Heelfan's over-exuberance deter you from adding pics to your postings from time to time. Like Chris100575, I too love looking at your pics and posting to you and getting post returns back from you. As Chris says, we have very few ladies that post here and we value your friendship very highly. Feel free to post any pics that you desire in any venue that you want and remember that we are all friends here. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
xaphod Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Ellen-Jay:-) Please don't let Heelfan's over-exuberance deter you from adding pics to your postings from time to time. ........ Cheers--- Dawn HH Yes, HF, can get a bit ahead of himself, at times. He's actually a quite pleasant guy, but he is not necessarily aware that silent is an anagram of listen all the time. Xa
Lucy Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Well, to try and ensure that you're all still friends, Heelfan would say that the very last thing he'd ever want to do is to discourage Ellen-Jay or any the rest of you excellent folks come to that - far from it. Xaphod is probably right that Heelfan gets over-enthusiastic at times and if that has inadvertantly caused the slightest offence, he cannot apologise enough! Love, Lucy Life is not a rehearsal. Why not use it to present ourselves as smartly and attractively as possible?
