JackieAL Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 When my feet hurt, I’ll often dangle my shoe for relief (casual atmosphere). Is hanging the shoe really low too extreme or inappropriate vs just popping the heel of my foot slightly out?
Cali Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 There are many different types of foot pain and many reason for it. Toes, instep, heel, arch, ... so I (we) need more information to answer.
JackieAL Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 Most times it’s the balls of my foot that’s sore.
Pierre1961 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 The pressure may be too much only on the balls.you can try to distribute the load more equally. Using some special insole that gives arch support.
Cali Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I use gel pads for the balls of my feet and they also prevent my feet from slipping down and jamming the toes. Most of my shoes have them.
Shyheels Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Since I wear boots, dangling of any sort is not really an option! 1
RonC Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I think @JackieAL question was more about the acceptability of dangling. Is hanging it low on the toes more provocative than a simple heel pop. I think for many the answer to that question would be yes. But that should not stop you from doing it.
JackieAL Posted February 27, 2021 Author Posted February 27, 2021 Yeah my shoe dangling (although relaxing) may be kind of excessive 😬 to the point of being awkward. Hanging it vertical isn’t cute. lol
