I'd suggest flat black leggings to go with the leather kilt.  Either of the boots are fine.  The shinny leggings would be a distraction as would be the black ones with the pattern.  However, the black pattered ones would look good without the kilt.

If you want some contrast on your legs consider these boots:

Many years ago when I was studying graphic design, I learned I do not have an eye for color, in fact I still have a design book on working with black and white titled "The Gray Book".  Having said that, I'd consider a white shirt in cotton or satin (or some bold solid color) and a cropped black leather jacket.

However, PM @JeffB and @CAT and ask them to contribute to this thread.

To my eye, the kilt seem to be cut as a heavy leather skirt rather than a kilt, so you may also find a leather skirt that you would enjoy.

Yeah more like a gladiator kilt but the strips are tied together instead for hiding the genitals.

Will return with a pic here when everything has arrived, so it's being easier to see whats missing.

swedeheeler: That's a pretty cool leather kilt there. To offer my two cents worth, I'd pair them with the OTB boots which I like most, but eschew the leggings, those might distract from the kilt or the boots, I think you can look good barelegged. As for a top, I think that something in red, perhaps a turtleneck or a crewneck sweater would work well, and, depending on the temperature, perhaps a black leather jacket to match. I hope these suggestions will be of some help to you.

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

Thank you for good answer @JeffB :)

I wondering. Is there any idea, to calculate with the corset in this picture as well (black matte satin)? Can hide it beneath the shirt, or just pull it outside shirt.

Hi Swedeheeler, Sure you could put a corset on and wear it with the kilt, however I think with a kilt, get use to wearing one and then see about a corset. I think with a corset one will outshine the other so in other words to much. I can imagine a leather skirt with a corset that would be awesome, but a kilt may not look as good. With either skirt or kilt and depending on how long the corset is one may cover the bottom of the corset. But I have 2 links to corsets that would work with a leather kilt. Also here is a link to Utilikilts that have a great gallery of photos and what different folks have paired their kilts with. I think if you are looking for more of a feminine look a nice sweater or flowing top would very good. Hope that helps.

Swedeheeler, I agree with TBG, shiny tights would be distraction, black or even some colored tights would work with a matching top. Recently I worn my black kilt with purple Argyle socks with a matching purple polo shirt with a pair of black chelsea boots.

@mtnsofheels Thank you for good inputs :) I'll start off with the kilt.

I have actually ordered some plain black matte leggings as well now so i can match more :)

The corsets you linked are way too pricey. Far beyond my limits actually but they looked nice :)

Dang... The kilt was too snug. Suspect that I got a 34 incher instead of my ordinary 36 inch waistline.

Well

Sounds like you have incentive to turn a wrong into a right.  Of recent I have been making an effort to not eat as much food.  I'm not going hungry at all, rather I'm making a conscious effort to stop eating when I'm satisfied.  I've lost 10-15 pounds but more significantly I'm now wearing size 12 skirts rather than 14-16 I was wearing.  I have had to take in the waist of a pair of shorts by 2" and I ran a 2" seam the entire length of a leather skirt which now looks and feels great.

Doing something wrong one/first time.  It doesn't matter except for human life, there it has to be right directly so no one gets hurted. But if it's keep coming wrong and not being learned of the mistakes, then it's not respectable for me.
