I think there is even more to it than just heels. I believe men in general are attracted to healthy women. Women wearing heels do tend to be healthier than those who don't.

Do not take this out of context and I am sure the following statement will fire off all kinds of comments but here goes anyway.

I believe human evolution has pushed things this way. Women are typically attracted to strong - powerful men (these days money equates to power). We look for strong breeding stock. It's in our collective DNA.

I always thought men evaluated women as just a place to put their dipstick and it was the female that selected their mate with an eye toward

survival of the species. (;-

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

I thought this was likely the most tasteful way of stating the obvious. One can always hit the report button if offended.

Usually, You and I areon the same page. On this one though.. Im going to have to politely disagree.

I have seen some ' beasties ' as they call them on these Jackstands.. Ive done a scientific experiment to make a sound observation that I know those shoes can.. F-it.. They can hold a Ton of weight between the pair. I can say in my observations in life, I have seen what would be called ' unhealthy ' people wearing heels. Some even had ' Kankles ' hanging around them.

I actually felt the need to leave a party ( and did ) when one of the brothers told one of the ' beasties ' at the party that my legs and feet looked better in heels then hers did. ( And I will say I whole heartedly agreed! ).

Apologies before hand for those whom may have consumed edibles before this but.. I wouldnt call either of these 2 people ' healthy ' by any means.. ( pics below )

If such were true, you and I would be single forever as we wear ( supposedly ) ' woman's ' footwear. I dont have a lot of money. Strong breeding stock?

If such were true, there wouldnt be any men that were ' dependents ' of ' Social services ' ( of which there are many ). There would be better fathers out there whom actually take care of their children and the mothers of their children.

I actually think mankind is in a trend of ' de-evolving ' right now as common sense is almost gone. :D

Legislated de-evolution. See my response to your 'let it snow' thread.

I think I can see what can be improved in Jkrenzer statement.

In the study, their conclusion states that men associate heels worn by a woman, with heels they have seen at the feet of women in pornographic magazines or websites.

But if the researchers did spend less time looking at porn sites, they would have also thought that in every "regular" media, movie, TV show, advertisement (especially for perfumes), magazine, TV programs, one can see healthy women wearing heels and attractive women wearing heels. In the news women wear flats only in documentaries about hunger, war, etc. In entertainment media, only men wear flat shoes.

So the conclusion of the study could be rewritten as "men associate heels worn by a women with heels they have seen at the feet of healthy and / or attractive women in the media, which would make Jkrenzer's statement true without excluding ILK's also true remark.

Just my 2 cents.
