Rockpup Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I used to. Got them off ebay but they were a bit too big (formerly known as "JimC")
Dr. Shoe Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I'd love to wear a pair to work. I'll tread on Pharis's foot and see how he likes it! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Bundy999 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 It's a shame they no longer make the Kayser pony boots.
Dr. Shoe Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Indeed. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
9inchheel Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 anybody have a connection for these beautiful boots
Dr. Shoe Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Kayser's were the only people to supply them. The uppers were made by LSB and then Kayser's put the hooves on... Both firms went out of business so now the whole thing's lost. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Curt Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 What do pony boots look like? Are they heel less or with a cloven heel. If so, I would like to find a pair that would be easy to walk in.
dww Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I think pony boots look just like a ponys foot, no heels just a hoof. Good luck. life is not a rehearsal
Rockpup Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 What do pony boots look like? Are they heel less or with a cloven heel. If so, I would like to find a pair that would be easy to walk in. I had the knee high version of these. (formerly known as "JimC")
Curt Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 No way! You even got horseshoes there! They have to be very loud.
Rockpup Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 They were. Did not wear them out much. Cannot drive with them on. (formerly known as "JimC")
Shafted Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I had the knee high version of these. Yep, that's what I remember pony boot being, horseshoes and all. Shafted, the boots that is! Dr. Shoe Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Same here... I'd have no trouble getting the horseshoes! lol Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
bionicbabe Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 are they easy to wear or do they get some getting use to not having the heel support?
Dr. Shoe Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 There is a length of steel bar welded across the open end with a spur sticking out coming to roughly where the heel tip would come. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Rockpup Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Here is a shot of the shoes. You can see the tabs on the back that helps support your foot. (formerly known as "JimC")
Jarl Ayari Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I thought punitive shoes still made pony boots? Smile and the whole world smiles with you, Fart and your on your own!!!
at9 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 They certainly still advertise them: http://www.punitiveshoes.com/index_en.shtml
Dr. Shoe Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Those are good and based on the old design but the horseshoes are fake (made from aluminium and not steel) and they are more like a wedge than a proper horse hoof. I might buy a pair one day and get the farrier to shoe them properly for me! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

I might buy a pair one day and get the farrier to shoe them properly for me! Will you be wearing them when you get shoed? I can just see the look on the farrier's face. Shafted, the boots that is! Dr. Shoe Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Probably! I get on quite well with him. We have quite a big yard (65 horses or so) so he's in two or three times a week. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
ChipsHH Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 There is Punitive Shoes I was just about to post but saw the above posts. Then, as with all things in society, and as many places are claiming...pony boots seemed to have "advanced" into this: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Fetish-Ponyplay-boots/804726_211651845.html It's definitely NO pony boot, though the appearance could convince some otherwise. But it's just a platform boot with the heel cut off. I like 'em, but I'm pretty sure the majority here are against this "fiend" per se. (And by the way, Not made in the USA, far as I know). Formally "HHDude"
9inchheel Posted September 5, 2013 Author Posted September 5, 2013 thanks dude... got those thigh high. but want the horseshoe thing. like pup so cool
