Foxyheels Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I have just found out that there is a shop in a small town only a few miles from where I live that sells ladies shoes. A little unusual that an independent shoe shop has recently opened in the current financial climate in a small town but one that exclusively stocks Uk size 8-11 EU 42-45 now that surprised me. Take a look www.louloushoes.co.uk http://www.louloushoes.co.uk/about-us/ High heels are the shoes I choose to put on, respect my choice as I repect yours.
Dr. Shoe Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Nice, I only hope we get more of these opening. My only concern is that she probably won't sell worthwhile heels... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Bubba136 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Since it's a newly opened business, a drop by in person along with an in depth interview and discussion with the owner would sensitize the owner to a whole new and unexpected clientele? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Histiletto Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I wish Louise all the best in her endeavor to fill the void of good quality and larger sized footwear. I do wonder what her outlooks are for the marketing possibilities to men, as well as women.
Foxyheels Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 I may have to pop in and have a chat, clearly an opportunity for extra business. It is in a very affluent middle classed conservative town though so I'm unsure. High heels are the shoes I choose to put on, respect my choice as I repect yours.
Steve63130 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Please report back, Foxy, and let us know her attitude on heels for men. I would like to know if it's a male-friendly place or not and I'm sure there are others here who are curious, too. Thanks! Steve
Heals4me Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 That's a great little shop. We used to have a specialist heels shop in town to serve the huge "alternative" community. Sadly it shut it's doors before I got the heel bug. I should have known my destiny because I used to like looking in the window thinking "wow!" My own local supplier mostly serves the fetish market. I'd love to have a local shop with a bigger range of styles in larger sizes.
yozz Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 There is a shop like this in Amsterdam. We once talked with the lady who runs the shop and said that she decided to start the shop because she always had problems finding shoes her size (46). I am sure anybody who starts such a shop knows that a dominant fraction of the clientele will be men. There is really no need to mention that. The selection in the shop was not really our taste, but I am sure many people here would have a different opinion. Y. Raise your voice. Put on some heels.
