J-Nation Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 it's not a particularly good leg model, either - have a look at the sock mark just above the ankle! Emma
Ionic Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 following on from Emma, I think we could get together and form a fashion shoot advice consultancy!!! Clearly we could all do it ten times better than most of the pictures we tend to see.... /I /I
Heelfan Posted December 4, 2003 Author Posted December 4, 2003 D'you know Emma you've done it yet AGAIN! Amazing! You've got that perceptive gift to spot those little subtleties that most people miss (like the model with one leg for instance!). As I've said before, how do you do it? You're a star! Cheefully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
Gizmo Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 It's awfull :!::!::!::!::!::!: I hope it wont come to Europe

Cheefully yours, Heelfan Some people can tell you how high a heel is at 1000 yards, I just spot the odd little details - I especially like the backgrounds to people's personal pics - you can see some wonderful stuff there! azraelle Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 Looks like something Lucille Ball wore in her "I Love Lucy" comedy series in the late '50's. Never had much use for her. "All that you can decide, is what to do with the time that is given you."--Gandalf, "Life is not tried, it is merely survived -If you're standing outside the fire."--Garth Brooks
Calv Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 Here's one from the current Style.com website. It was in the fashion shows for next spring!!! Looks like something a tramp (not the sexy kind) would wear. Looks like somebody made a bad mistake cutting the grass with a lawnmower. They are definitely Do your own thing. Don't be a victim of conformity. Calv
Ionic Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Here is another shocker: too speechless to comment further. :x {you can buy them on eBay if you disagree!} /I /I
Heelfan Posted December 10, 2003 Author Posted December 10, 2003 Hilariously dreadful Ionic! How does anybody get to design or make something like that? What a hoot! Keep 'em coming folks! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
Bubba136 Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 They remind me of the shoes prize fighters wear in the boxing ring. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Anita C. Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 ANYTHING by Birkenstock! "Spike Heels . . a Pork-pie hat . . Have on the mend in no time flat . . Ten Minutes 'Till The Savages Come by Manhatten Transfer.
Ionic Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 ANYTHING by Birkenstock! You've got a 'thing' about Birkenstocks, haven't you? Don't rugged walking shoes have a role occasionally for their intended purpose? /I /I
Heelfan Posted December 12, 2003 Author Posted December 12, 2003 Yes Ionic, they do for that, but emphatically NOT when being judged by the superb criteria of our community of high heel fanatics! Let's keep in THIS Forum's context, not the Scunthorpe Hill-Walkers and Trudgers' Forum. I've already posted that high stilettos are not suitable for the North face of the Eiger or those chippings quarries in Cornwall, so conversly Birkenstocks are equally unsuitable for our heel-orientated eyes. Huh? .............. I say HUH? Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
stellah Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Here's a link... http://www.uglydress.com/uglyshoes.html An example: _______________ HH forever!
Ionic Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I think the shoe design student lost their way and wandered into the furniture making college. Only possible explanation for this one:- It comes in blue gingham too if you prefer! /I /I
Robert Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 wanna play chess? Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
shyguy Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 they'd match my tablecloth though He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
Bubba136 Posted December 15, 2003 Posted December 15, 2003 Those boots look like they belong to some Lapland tribal costume. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Gizmo Posted December 15, 2003 Posted December 15, 2003 If U want sth ugly then what do you say about this one example of modern boot ?? http://www.punitiveshoes.com/database/ballets/prince.shtml
Heelfan Posted December 16, 2003 Author Posted December 16, 2003 D'you know folks, I'm SO pleased I started this Thread. It's HILARIOUS! It keeps me incredibly mirthful! If I've had a hard day, all I need to do in get to the computer, tune into "Your WORST pictures" and there's always something fresh to make me fall about in paroxisms! Well done all, and keep 'em coming! Cheerfully yours, Cass Onwards and upwards!
stellah Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Not the funniest and ugliest, but a total no-go for me: _______________ HH forever!
barney15c Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 These are for sale on EBAY UK at the moment in a US13 (UK11). Definateley amongst the most ugliest shoes i've seen. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
Bubba136 Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Where on earth (or in outer space?) was this designer's mind when he (has got to be a "he" because no self respecting woman would ever concieve of such a style) thought these up? Now, shoes posted in this thread speak trainloads about designers and manufacturers when they take their time, effort and good hard earned cash to produce something as un-salable as these styles and won't produce larger sized styles of already popular stiletto heels for the male market. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Ionic Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 You have to add the quote going with those Punitiveshoes boot-things. "with halfmoon light wood platform available from 20 to 40 cm. Comfortable and balanced shape for easy walking. Made in patent red leather with transpirant lining" note the words 'balanced' and 'easy' /I _______ note the rolly-eyes... .../Ironic-Ionic /I
Bubba136 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 why do I have to include those words. I experessed my opinion and, if you can't tell from my words, they sure don't crank my engine. But, that's ok, If you like them. Then, you are the person they had in mind when they made them for. And, at 340 Euros a pop, you should get at least three pair in each color. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
stellah Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 How sexy are these boots? Steve Madden's "Parch", $120 _______________ HH forever!
