I am new to wearing heels for pleasing lol I have a new bf who has a serious thing for girls in heels and I am looking for the perfect pair to suprise him with, his fave colour is blue and I mentioned heel height to him. No plaltform and the higher the better. However he said that as I was only short (5ft 1) that he wasnt sure if a higher heel would be out of proportion. Is this possible? I have UK size 5 feet. SArmeah Posted July 16, 2011 Share Posted July 16, 2011 If you're only 5'1" don't be afraid of platforms. Some of them are more tasteful than others. Have a look at the YSL Tribtoo. Its expensive sure, but its a good shoe to use as an example. There are a lot of shoes very similar that I am sure you can find. Blue is definitely hot though. The Domina line from Pleaser mostly comes in two varieties: real leather (not cheap) and non-leather (cheap). Look closely what is offered. If they say PU (=polyurethane) or leatherlike or leatherette it is not real leather. Also "patent" is often not real patent leather, but some form of PVC (=plastic). If you see a style you like in some shop, try searching for that model in a search machine. There are price differences for exactly the same sort of shoe between resellers, and it pays to shop around. Just be certain it is the same material! I have owned a couple of pairs of Pleaser shoes and in my opinion they feel really cheap and nasty. The only reason I can see for buying Pleasers is if you have big feet as they go up to very large sizes. You don't need a specialist size so I would buy something amazing from a better brand. One pair of super hot shoes is far better than several pairs of cheap ones. If they still exist then try Leatherworks or one of the companies that sell their shoes. http://www.leatherworks.org.uk Of try your luck on Ebay. I have bought some mindblowingly sexy shoes (both modern and vintage) for peanuts there. Also try Italian Heels. I have heard good things about them. http://www.italianheels.com As to choosing shoes. I would always go for pleasing yourself first and your boyfriend second. Of course take his thoughts on board when choosing but remember that you have to wear the damn things.
