these would be an ideal pair of heels for long distance walking. if the heels are under 4'' they could possibly be ok for a marathon as long as the heels had steel tips fitted. if they had chunky heels they would be 100% ideal. they have open toes and sides which offer good ventilation and the ankle support is supurb:smile:

Shrimper, I've had my eye on those from Payless for a while now. How is the fit compared to their typical product?

Just added to my t-strap collection this week at Payless.

They are nice, I have a couple of pairs of T-straps myself, one pair very similar to yours. My opinion on them is they put me in the mind of a very ellegant and refined look. Need to be worn with classy clothes.

High heels are the shoes I choose to put on, respect my choice as I repect yours.

I'm actually working with Shoecraft to modify one of their styles to make the t-straps that I've been looking for for years ....

Starting with these:

And add the modifications seen in this style:

* the t-strap, obviously

* the more narrow back heel cover, or counter

* with a 4 in heel ...
