    Sorry for the delay.

    Again on your boots first: 7"-type/class or really measured? Sorry for bothering you on this but if someone mentions 7 inch heels they're always a bit more or less than that.

    My avatar boots? Unfortunately I can't give you the direct link to them since this is gonna screw the presentation. But if you follow these directions you should be there in no time: Check Extravaganza. Choose 'Enter HTML' then 'Bootwear' and go to page 3. It's the leftmost icon subtitled with 'Und die Mode lebt!' (it's like: 'Living fashion'). They come with 13cm heels (in size EU43, they fit true to size); the upper material is black soft/stretch leather - fun to wear. But be careful if you have a high instep: By pulling them on and off it could happen that the seam is gonna tear on the back side of the shaft (since this is 'soft' leather). Handle them gently and they will thank it a lot...

    If you have problems figuring your way through the German language on their pages - tell me and will provide some help.

  2. Hi! Oh yeah, the 'B' in the picture says it all! ;o) This is just one more proof that you don't need rigid/real-heels to keep the back of your feet high up in the air, with these 'shoes' this comes by itself. Perfectly for "slaves"... :roll: CU! -Mike

  3. Hi! I voted for "Via a standard proportion (height / foot length - produces consistant angles)" because I think it's the actual angle that affects the wearer of high heeled shoe. For a size UK4 a heel height of 10cm (4") might be the absolute maximum. However, for a size UK13 shoes like this are probably not even considered to have 'heels' at all, feeling like wearing flats to someone with large feet sized like that. CU! -Mike

    Yes, I wore the 4 inch burgundy boots a lot, always with the heels visible. Occasionally men might ask "isn't it hard getting used to those heels?" I used to try to minimize it as I've been wearing heels for decades so they're no challenge at all, but I seem to get better reactions when I say, "They were a bit hard at first, but you quickly get the hang of it."

    I'm a little more shy about the black 5 inch heel boots and usually wear them with longer pants, but I do wear them out from time to time.

    I started an inquiry with Westernranchboots just the other day about something similar to your 5" boots as they look pretty cool for everyday wear. I'm out all day at work and for shopping in 4.5" platform loafers and wear them with longer pants. No bad comments till now, except one (male) collegue asked me why I'm doing this. I said: "Just for the fun of it!" and "Why should all the girls have the fun only?".

    I just love the cowboy-heels style because, when worn with longer pants, the part of the heels that's still visible looks like the bottom part of 'ordinary' cowboy boots. Might be a little more acceptable to others...

    Nice pictures, indeed!

    These were made by Western Ranch Boot Company in early 2003 for $350. The heels are a bit over 5 inches and the shafts don't lean forward any more than most cowboy boots.

    Do you wear those outdoors like that? How do they feel? I think they're made to measure, right? And you can be in them all day with no problems...

    Does Western Ranch still make those boots these days?

I think I do know what's basically said (by shuffling my language-knowledge on German and English and using this 'twist' for 'decoding') but I'd be interested in what they say in particular what shoes the men should use: "... op de hakken van je vriendin of je moeder! ...". Girl-friend? Mother? And what should one do with the €10.000,-? Invest in shoes? :o))) Good idea...

    The picture looks like the very next micro second after the spring sale was opened... ;o)))

    Although I’ve previously posted these first four photos in the Freestyle Fashion thread, ...

    Shame on me I didn't discover this thread until today. Pretty good pictures! I do really love the outfits, especially the one with the tan/brown cowboy boots. I wish I could have a version of those with 4.5" or even 5" heels in matte black. That would then be me favourite daily footwear.

    Lucky me! Seen a lot of heels while encoutered the Gay-Parade in NYC last Sunday. Amongst others, one could have seen these:

    1., 2., 3., 4., 5., 6., 7., 8., 9., 10., 11., 12., 13. and 14..

    As for number 11. I would have said it's a girl. But if 'it' was really a guy - d**n, it's been perfect! Almost have to give it a try... ;o))))

    One of the 'actors' noticed the shoe store that was right behind me and (s)he called out loud and sweet: "Oooh! Shoooes!" ;o)))))))

    Oh boy, some of them looked pretty cute. And I would have liked to actually meet 2 or 3 of them in person if not just in private at all. ;o)))

    Has anyone else been at the show from around here as well?

    ... Now THAT was a really helluva high heel to manage! What were they- sandals, boots? Wasn't she a bit clumsy?

    She wore sandal-type shoes. Albeit the managed these quite well she didn't make it for a lot of distance in quite a while. Anyway, great sight... ;o)))

  11. Hi! Being on a business trip to the U.S., yesterday evening I noticed a gal wearing like 8"~9" platform heels here in Boston, MA. It didn't look like she was going to a fetish party since except for the shoes she was dressed as if she would be in for a regular dinner-party. Too bad I didn't manage to get my camera operational in time for taking a photo. CU! -Mike

    Not actually one of my favourites but quite funny. And: it has a cute little high-heel-scene in it. I don't remember if there's more in that movie but this one I somehow like(d) the most.

    Watch that movie from 00:07:15 to 00:08:15 (hrs:min:sec) run time (basic TV-version). I'm talking about the scene right after Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) sent Pegasus' receptionist into the land of dreams. The other secretary (or whatever job her is) managing the 'first aid' for the knocked-out receptionist wears some cool heels. If they were courts but basically shaped like that shown in the scene (especially the blade-style heels) I would have immediately gotten hold of a pair.

    I´ve updated my gallery today and there is a new short outdoor balletwalk video too.. i guess some of you might like it. (the light-fetish link above)

    When I first came across your pages I thought: " 'kay, another collector of those videoclips...". But then I realized - shame on me, I must admit it took me a while - that the owner of 'light-fetish' and the person performing the ballet-heel walks are identical. So the only thing I can do is to express my compliments (if there would have been an emoticon for *ENVIOUS* I would have surely put it here)!!!

    Did that take you some training? What did people think or say when walking past you - if there were any at the time the clips were shot?

    I'm looking for something like the red boots on the right side of this picture. I've seen a lot of them - or at least remade ones - recently in London with heels from approx. 3.5" - 5"(+?) high! Women of nearly all ages wore them!

    Does anybody know 1) what I'm referring to and 2) where those are available? Unfortunately, I haven't found any store that sold'em.

  16. Hi! However, doing step-aerobics, for example, is fine, even if it lasts for 1 1/2 hour and it's done usually in some sort of flat-heeled trainers. But I got hold of some dance-aerobic-sneakers which provide a one inch heel. @sscotty727: BTW, sorry that the quote doesn't match my post anymore but I thought the grammar I used sucked in the first place.     I guess I need to spend my two cents here...

    ... "it's for medical reason, I have a bad back and wearing the heels alleviates the pain". ...

    In my case I wouldn't say it's an excuse - it's really so - it eases back pain a lot!!! Although not prescribed I found that when monotonously walking for long distances and standing in line for some time it felt a lot better if higher heels are worn.
