  1. Hi! Thanks for the link. But I'm searching 5" (rubber) heels as they don't produce much noise. Don't get me wrong, I was already out on the streets in bright daylight with 5.25" heels platform boots which produced some noise but there are times when walking a bit more quiet is even more appropriate. And as I said in another thread: The styles offered in those dedicated shops are always a bit more flashy than I can bear. So I tried to get hold of some casual styles in my sizes with heels that high which seems to be sort of impossible nowadays... CU! -Mike

  2. 5"? Cool! Always wanted shoes like that... -- Once there was an offer like this on eBay I placed bids and had actually won the aution in the end but the shoes got lost on their way from the U.S. to Europe and hence have never arrived. Plus I never again saw something like this offered anywhere else since. Should have checked with online shops at the time when there was lots of 'girls'-shoes like that in the stores until the end of 2000 or so. But with all the shops near my place these styles were only ranging up to EU41 which is comparable to a US ladies 10. Chances 'were' that online shops offered them in ladies' US12 or 13 as well. But at that time I didn't know about ladies' plus sizes online stores nor did I know about eBay... Smitty, just in case you come across an offer or a supplier who still sells this stuff, please (!!!) tell me immediately!!! CU! -Mike

  3. Posting here since the thread topic looks most appropriate...

Yesterday when I went shopping I had a cool sighting. On my way to the checkout I almost run into a woman and a younger girl; looked like mother and daughter (from behind). At least that's what I took them for first. I then took another look down on the woman and noticed stiletto heeled boots - cool! - because she walked as if she was on high heels. Hm, couldn't tell if they were knee-highs or just ankle boots. Anayway, the heels seemed to be in the 4"- to slightly 4"+-range. But then someting made me suspicous. It was the way the high heeled 'woman' strode (don't worry, at the end of the story the 'woman' will remain female - just in case you were tempted to think in another direction -- we'll see in a moment why I put 'woman' in "'"). The steps she took weren't actually small enough to call it ladylike. She rather 'ran' through the aisles. Good performance if you would only take the 4"+ into consideration. Anyway, she went outside to wait for the younger girl who had to pay for a CD. Then I saw her face: Although the was dressed all black and wore goth-like make-up as well (okay not extremely goth but it was pretty much like that) you couldn't really tell her age but she wasn't definitely what I was taking her for on the first glance. She must have been somewhere in-between the age of like 12 and 16. As said, one couldn't tell because of the make-up but she still looked very young. Secondly, the way she handled her heels expressed that she'd probably worn such kind of shoes for quite a couple of years already. Anyway, provided that both girls were classmates - the way they communicated with each other suggested so - then the heelsgirl in black was rather more at an age of 12 or 13 than 16. -- I wouldn't have taken her for trying to look older or like a hooker to get some dedicated affection, I just thought of her as if she would do that because it's her philosophy and she really liked the way the stuff looks on her. I must admit if I was female I probably would have looked the same way at that age. Maybe not entirely black but that would have been it.

    Anyway, stunning sighting...

In case the girl reads along and recognizes herself: Way to go girl, way to go!

  4. Hi!

Since I want to stick to the rules I'm not posting in the gals' forum but open another thread that discusses the topic from over there...

I just came across this and was really happy to see that there is no problem at all with dating a man who wears heels (except for that little girl who wants to wear the heels while dating because she appears to be vertically challenged).

On the other hand there are forums like the german 'go feminin' where guys asked for feedback about 'What would you gals think of a man in heels or with long (polished) nails?' Almost the entire thread of answers read - sort of - 'Yuck', 'IIIIEEEEEEEEEEH!!! I just even wouldn't wanna think of such a thing...', 'f**king freaks' and the like. I almost was about to give up on heels'n'hose and all this stuff just by reading these postings until I found a new enthusiasm reading the mentioned thread in the girls' forum.

So, what's true? Do the girls like it or not? Or wouldn't they just mind? Are they required to have a shoe fetish as well in order to understand what it is all about? Does it depend on the country one lives in? I'm sort of confused...

  5. Hi! Yet another [rant] - [/rant] post... First I must admit that I do love all these real high (stiletto-, chunky- and the like) high heels in almost all shapes and colors. But there are times when I just want to feel the heels and don't want to attract to much attention. Some casual styles might really help with this issue but the problem is the 'regular shops' don't offer styles in my size. It usually stops at EU41 with all the interesting shoes. There would surely be men like me who really want to get a pair of a more decent character. But with an EU43 odds are 1:1000 or so or even worse than that that a women's EU41 will fit just because the particular style accidentally runs a bit large and features a square toe box. Okay, that did happen to be once with the buffalo-style (T-24400-like) stretch leather boots they sold six years ago. But this was the only time that it has actually happened. Current styles are more flashy, feminine and rather narrow in the toe box area so that when they say it's a EU41 it would be more like a EU40 - even for slender female feet. On the other hand you don't see the more casual-like styles from Pleasers, Jante, Highest Heel and so on. The stuff they offer is always sort of flashy and does attract attention when worn by either men or women. Sometimes there are really cool styles out there in the shops and on the shelves but women don't want'em (because of the actual heel height: 'Impractical, ew!, no way...') and men, who do want, can't buy'em because of the size. I say: "@#$%&@#!@#...". Anyway, to cut a long thing short: That's just not fair... :o((( CU! -Mike

  6. Folks,

last night I stayed up late to follow an auction on a pair of boots that I tried to get hold of for some time already.

I contacted the bidder in advance and asked him if he would allow for foreign bidders (I live in Germany and shipping was U.S. only). He told me he wouldn't mind...

The moment I started bidding eBay spit out a warning that the seller might not want to ship abroad. Since I talked to him earlier already I hit 'continue' though. I then ended up with just a message that I wasn't entitled to bid in this auction!!! And I had to let go...

The seller told me that once an initial bid was placed he couldn't update the aution anymore regarding 'item ships to: ...'.

And I thought they 'fixed' it, since I run into that issue once before some years ago. -- Man, they live of the charges of stuff that's being sold - the higher the price the better. Obviously they didn't quite get that point yet...

  7. Folks, although I do wear high heels while driving but on the other hand driving in heels is not a topic that would particularily push my button I do got one story to tell you though. Some years ago, actually quite some years ago I worked for a company where TVs, radios and stuff like that was repaired. I still was doing my vocational training at that time so I was kept busy repairing devices most of the day in the workshop to gain some experience. The other employees usually left for external work with the customers at their location (where it was more reasonable to service the TV there instead of bringing it in since it was quite bulky) in the morning. Okay, so far about the prologue. Around 8am each day the boss' beautiful assistant - let's call her Dawn - came in to do paper work, talking to customers, suppliers and so on. She was always well-dressed: Business suit/dress, hair and make-up done nicely, high heels and long polished nails. I always saved up that kind of work for the time she was in where I had to pick up spare parts in the back as I had to walk past her desk. Doing so I sneaked a peek at her heels and nails by that chance. And whenever it was possible I started a conversation with her (no, not about nails and heels, although I must admit I was very tempted to do so but I just tried to be near her) to compensate for being around with the other male employees (who were only able to talk about soccer and cars) for most of the day. One fine day all technicians were already out again, so all cars were taken and Dawn was in when the boss phoned and told her to give me a ride to a remote company-building to get some stuff straight over there. He would then pick me up later in the afternoon. I didn't know yet but I should learn that I was in for the ride of my life. I thought that - according to her appearance - Dawn would be a discreet driver. This held true till we crossed the city limits. As we were on the road (okay, more of a country lane) outside the town Dawn hit the accelerator quite hard and went like 65 mph on this 'road' (which was only 15 feet across) while having a lot of oncoming traffic. At one time she had to evade an oncoming vehicle and one tire of our car was already over the edge where the pavement met the ditch. Anyway I didn't give a damn about that. Okay, I was a little bit frightened since this was the first time seing, ahm, experiencing her driving, but I only had eyes for her long-nailed hands easily handling the wheel and the way she managed the pedals with her high heels. The heels were like 4 inches tall - not that big of a deal for me but for her tiny feet this looked quite steep. So I didn't really know where to look first. Heels, nails, speed - I was so fascinated by this performance that the time to get to the destination went by like nothing. Anyway, I didn't comment on her driving style since I found this was very arousing thinking she would then slow the car down or so and the show was over. So I sat back, kept watching and enjoyed the ride. I couldn't almost wait for the time getting back home to get some relief... ;o))))) I must say that these days I really regret not having talked to her about those 'accessories' I like so much. Could have been quite interesting probably. CU! -Mike

  8. ... Have a copy in .vob - no idea how to convert to .mpg or .wmv

Use 'Project-X' (you may google for it). It can demux a .vob into mpv (video) and mp2 (audio), for example (depending on the settings, you may receive different filenames and extensions). Use 'muxxi' (you may google for it as well) to combine these audio- and video-media-streams to an MPEG-file. No recode required, should be done within 30 mins (depending on your computer's I/O-performance).

  9. Hi! Yeah, man, I know what you're talking about. And, although I'm a little envious about all you guys from the U.S. who have lots of Payless (I've seen a couple of interesting styles at Payless in my size (12) when I was on a business trip to Boston in June this year) stores around your areas you live in, I've already noticed that even here in Germany certain women-shoe-styles at 'Deichmann' (for example) are being sold in sizes up to a EU42 (this is supposed to be a US Ladies 11). This is way more than a couple of years ago when you only had just one or two styles in that size but rather looked like grandma's boots. So, we'll see... CU! -Mike
