we used to make pockets in the hem of the cape and stash what we needed in there I have many fond memories of putting all these things into the hem of my sisters female friends capes !!!---drools---!!! scantily clad females and me on my knees in front of them, a thin piece of lace seperating my face and their ..... STOP IT, FRANCIS. That's more than enough detail I'm sure everyone doesn't want to know the sordid details needless to say that every trip to RHPS is an experience. You remember every one of them. Believe me, you will !!!

it's true that parents are a little more accepting if the heels are of the chunky style rather than stiletto variant come to think of it, so are most of the closeminds 3.5" are the lowest heels I own, apart from the flat steel toecaps necessary for labourious tasks. usual daily heel height is at least 4" but it's always best to start low and work up

Sohoboot, they look more like riggers boots which would be a reason why they are overlooked, plus the outward appearance with thicker treads gives them a workmanlike style. So anyone looking would think "Ah, heavy manual worker" and then think no more A bit harder to get away with a 4inch heel variation though, but as you've noticed most people don't look or don't care

I'm afraid, that I'm still on girlfriend number 1 that knew of my 'interests' and she thinks it's great! FF can vouch for that! All she asks is that I don't spend my life buying more shoes and boots that will only get occasional wear, like my ballets and thigh highs. Although if we get the money, she's going to buy me a pair of thigh high ballets (one's with padlocks, so she can keep the key, kinky bitch!) She's cool about me in 4"+ heels, but has issues about me in stilettos at the moment. Maybe when I've lost the spare tyre from my waist that will change.

Squirrel heels; you know, it sounds like you were almost disappointed that no-one noticed you wearing your heels! Yes, we were all like that at some time, especially when you go out in a nice pair and no-one spots them. Disappointing? Try, Gutted! But then most people don't care what you're wearing unless you point it out or are wearing something so obvious (big sign saying "Look at my shoes!") then why should they bother looking? Terayon; an analogy of Maplins for you would be something like Tandy or Radio Shack.
