Yes, safe travels and I hope you enjoy your time out of town.

Very cool.

Oh wow. Yeah, not the best circumstances.

Wasn't great at the time of the encounter but, looking back, wasn't an issue and I just wish I'd not reacted the way I did.
How did you react?

Some high end shopping tips for you boys
Funny!

I too got to see a Concord on a couple occasions in Phoenix. First time we parked right on the centerline of the runway right next to the airport fence. It flew right over us probably 150 feet in the air. It also made two passes prior to landing. The next time it came I got a call from my sister saying it had just flown overhead. I high tailed down to th airport and went to the gate attempting to get inside. Unfortunately they were doing a fast turn and were already closing the door. I barely made it to the observation deck to see the take off.

We live just a couple hours away. Hoping to connect one of these days.Oxford… Yes, I wonder the same thing. I have never seen another guy in gals shoes - heels, flats - nothing. I guess I am the only one out here.
The folks in the shoe stores tell me that "a lot" of guys come in to look at, try on, and purchase gals shoes / sandals. Then they must disappear into the firmament.
But I keep looking, maybe , just maybe - some day…. Take care… sf

The closest that I have experienced to Jealousy was at the big Halloween party that me and the Mrs. went to in 2006. There were some gals, also in heels, that checked in with me several time throughout the evening. The party was gigantic at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. The place is huge and most of the mansion is open for exploring and there were at least three separate live bands playing. After several hours walking and dancing and not having aching feet yet, these gals to express how they wished that they could go that long without finding their feet in pain.

I'm in the carbide business. Carbide handles tremendous compression but is not so good with transverse rupture strength (bending). The stem of the heel tap would break, the edges would chip, and everything you walk on will get messed up.

Love those xray.
I've been wearing these from Pleaser for about a week on and off. I purchased them in 10 initially but returned them for 11 and they fit and feel great. These definitely run a size smaller than the other Pleaser's I've recently shown here. I reviewed them on Amazon as well.
Take Care
Joe
I like them. Pleaser has some decent designs these days. Enjoy!

Yeah, I always find it to be a complement when a gal tells me that I'm better in heels than she is or compares her heels to mine.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I am in a joking mood today.
The answer to your question is: 42.
... and Steve, you are right when you say "but not their man"... it's sad, but true.
Ha, love it!

Ha, that was funny.

My latest addition: pointy toe 3-1/2" heels in size 11 by Enzo Angiolini. I got these at DSW for just under $40.! They are actually very comfy to walk in , compared to most of my other pointy pumps
Not bad, I like them.

Corny, my friend. Corny!
I've been enjoying Steve's humor as of late too.

I have a pair on order now. I'll post with my experience when they arrive.

I thought heels an hose was it. But you guys are getting me interested in nailpolish as well!
It has been a while since i've posted here so here goes... My latest purchases where four pairs of New Look heels. They have a sale so I couldn't resist (pic 1 to 4). I've been a fan of the JC Lita's but original ones are so expensive. When I found these look-a-likes I had to have them. Lots cheaper (paid €10,-) and they are very comfortable. The studded sandals where given to me by a friend. She ordered them and they where way too large for her. For me they are on the large side as well but this makes them very comfy. I'm a sucker for heeled booties so when Zalando had a sale I had to order those as well... shoe-a-holic anyone?
I like them all!

Not bad, Joe.

If we keep killing those poor fauxes for their fur, at this rate they'll soon be extinct!
That's my rant fur now.
Happy Heeling in the New Year!
Steve
Yes, save the fauxes!

Great picture!
And like Steve said, details please. :-)
Happy new year!

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've posted, I thought I'd put these couple of pics up that my girlfriend took of the other day, unfortunately I didn't get to go out wearing this, but hopefully tonight. I'm wearing a pink Abercrombie polo shirt, river island black skinny jeans (women's), and new look 5 inch heels with a 1/2 inch platform. How do I look, constructive comments welcome as always.
Thanks 6inch-heaven
Actually, you look pretty darn nice. Not bad at all. If you get out then I hope you have a good time.

Now that I think about it I told a handful of buddies about it when I was younger.
One buddy who was kind of nuts back then (certifiable now) was quite cool about it. On a few occasions he wore my shoes and we even took a walk late one night in them He even had a code to bring up the subject up - he would say, "nice shoes." One day when I was a junior in high school a gal came up to me and told me that she thought we might have a friend in common. She said, "He told me to tell you nice shoes. What does that mean?" Now this gal would have blabbed it throughout the whole campus so I acted like I didn't know what she was talking about but I have often wonder how it would have gone if I didn't play ignorant.
Anther buddy in my late teens or early twenties was also pretty cool with the information. He asked to check them out and even borrowed a pair of, at that time, stripper platforms for a costume.
I grew away from the first buddy because as I mentioned he has a few screws loose - not in a good/fun way either. The other buddy and I are still friends but hardly see each other as we both have families now and that was before I moved to a new state.
I wish that I had allowed their coolness with me and my heels to become more open with things back then.
Again, man, way to go. I hope you are able to enjoy being open with your friends about how you dig rocking some awesome shoes.
Best,
Larry

hiheellover23,
Your new boots are awesome!
Mechanic,
Your boots are awesome too!
I have had a pair of shoes on order with OnlyMaker since the middle of December and my order is not going so smoothly. I don't want to complain about the process too much as they do still seem to be working with me and if everything ultimately works out I'll sing praises for them.
My fingers are crossed as they seem to make some pretty cool shoes and if they really will make any pair of shoes for you then a lot of options open up.
Best,
Larry
