  1. I'm out in heels every day, too, and like SF, there's not much to report: "I went to the bank in heels. Nothing bad happened. Either nobody noticed, or they were polite and didn't say anything. End of story." The bank still likes my money!

If that isn't acceptance of guys wearing heels, I don't know what is!

    Happy holidays to all!

  2. That's for sure. Well, you do seem to have an enormous closet and I am impressed with a lot of what you've displayed. How far along are we through the tour? Half way? More? Less? Just curious.

What... I really was curious about the budget...

Wow, I hate being that predictable.

It's ok, TBG, I'm just messin' with ya. I dunno about predictable, but you're definitely focused!

I'm amazed at Ynotme's shoe budget, too! Maybe we could arrange to go shopping in his closet sometime! LOL

  4. Good choices. I like them both. Have fun. The more you wear in public, the easier it is. After a while you'll stop looking whether people are noticing and just go about your business. You might even be disappointed that nobody says anything!

Thanks for posting about your experience.

  5. LIme,

Good to see you posting again. Nice pair of booties, but I looked on the Torrid.com web site and I didn't find them listed anywhere. They must have sold out, so there is no chance of seeing if they publish your review, but it's a good review nevertheless. Enjoy wearing the new acquisition (and get a pedicure to make them look spectacular!).

  6. Like SF, I'm lucky, too. My wife is accepting, and the more I wear heels in public and nobody comments, the more confident she gets, so it's all going in the right direction. But it was not smooth for the first few years, as I didn't disclose my passion to her early in our relationship - more like 4 years after we married. Fortunately we've worked it all out, and there are no kids to complicate the equation. So, LS, I applaud your direct approach - that's what I should have done. Put your cards on the table and whoever wants to can see up front what she's getting, warts and all, as they say. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
