Hey, guys. Don't read more into it than is there. I seriously doubt if 6pm is really promoting heels for men. I just found it a curious ad because they didn't also show a pair of men's shoes.

No, please don't tell us! HA HA HA!
C'mon, w6! Of course we want to know. Spill the story.

G'day, Stealhers,
What's the date, time, and exact place? I couldn't find that info on the web site. Who knows? Maybe I could schedule another trip to Oz to coincide with it!

You could put up a big poster that says "KEYS POUCH HERE----> (Do not remove)" Maybe that would get her attention?
Good luck!

Nice classic pumps - a look that never goes out of style.

I'm out in heels every day, too, and like SF, there's not much to report: "I went to the bank in heels. Nothing bad happened. Either nobody noticed, or they were polite and didn't say anything. End of story." The bank still likes my money!
If that isn't acceptance of guys wearing heels, I don't know what is!
Happy holidays to all!

Lady and gentleman,
Thank you both for calmly reaching consensus on this issue without flaming and subsequent hurt. I applaud you both on handling the issue very maturely, and I agree, we need to focus on what unites us (heels) and not what divides us.

Yep, I agree. Don't mess with the boots' heels. They look great as is.

Ok, thanks. Keep going!

That's for sure. Well, you do seem to have an enormous closet and I am impressed with a lot of what you've displayed. How far along are we through the tour? Half way? More? Less? Just curious.

What... I really was curious about the budget...
Wow, I hate being that predictable.
It's ok, TBG, I'm just messin' with ya. I dunno about predictable, but you're definitely focused!
I'm amazed at Ynotme's shoe budget, too! Maybe we could arrange to go shopping in his closet sometime! LOL

HAH! I was waiting for you to ask that, TBG! I knew it was coming. You didn't disappoint.
So, Ynotme, what's the answer?

Work/honeymoon? That wouldn't go over well with most brides! Congrats, good luck, and have fun!

Good choices. I like them both. Have fun. The more you wear in public, the easier it is. After a while you'll stop looking whether people are noticing and just go about your business. You might even be disappointed that nobody says anything!
Thanks for posting about your experience.

LIme,
Good to see you posting again. Nice pair of booties, but I looked on the Torrid.com web site and I didn't find them listed anywhere. They must have sold out, so there is no chance of seeing if they publish your review, but it's a good review nevertheless. Enjoy wearing the new acquisition (and get a pedicure to make them look spectacular!).

Ditto.

Hey, that's good progress, Mlroseplant! Thanks for sharing. People who like us often have trouble getting their heads around the fact that we have a preference for alternative footwear. Eventually some of them finally get it and figure out that it's only shoes. Good victory!

That most reputable(?) source, Yahoo Style, shows 16 different women's boot styles (mostly heels) and tells us definitively what's IN and what's OUT. Now you'll know how to spend your money.
Seriously, take it with a grain of salt. Trends come and go.

Be cautious on this survey thing. Without knowing the details, it sounds too good to be true. I read somewhere that 32% of survey statistics are bogus.

Like SF, I'm lucky, too. My wife is accepting, and the more I wear heels in public and nobody comments, the more confident she gets, so it's all going in the right direction. But it was not smooth for the first few years, as I didn't disclose my passion to her early in our relationship - more like 4 years after we married. Fortunately we've worked it all out, and there are no kids to complicate the equation. So, LS, I applaud your direct approach - that's what I should have done. Put your cards on the table and whoever wants to can see up front what she's getting, warts and all, as they say. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

G'day, James,
Yes, I've bought from 6pm.com quite a few times. I'm always pleased with their service. They're a reputable firm with good prices.

Jetheelsfan,
I went online and found 17 styles of boots in the medium to high heel range. Nothing that I can't live without, but there are some decent heels there.

Well, $100 or $150 will buy a very nice pair of new heeled boots or shoes! I wouldn't turn my nose up at that!
Good for you! We knew you were a winner! LOL
