My sweater dresses are very short, so I wear them like a tunic. That's why my wife allows me to wear them out and about, however if I wore a midi or maxi length she would not be happy with what I'm wearing. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Mirose, Start wearing your sweater dresses. I love wearing mine. I have several in different colors. Also I have several sweatshirt dresses too, that i love wearing too. The sweater dresses and sweatshirt dresses keep me warm in the winter months especially wearing them with fleece lined tights and leggings, with my knee boots. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Just got my new mani for Valentine's. I got my usual clear/pink gel on my fingers, with special decor on my little pinkies. On my left pinkie a white base with a red heart and on my right pinkie a red base with the word love and two very small hearts in red. I decided that I was going to add something new to my mani. I had her add a fire engine red top coat in acrylic to my ring fingers, so that if my wife disapproved of the red on my ring fingers, I could easily remove if for her. So far she's OK with the red. BTW I wore my red Lands' End sweater dress with creme colored, fleece lined, tights with my red patent knee boots and a creme colored puffer jacket. I got a couple compliments from both my nail tech and another woman customer on both my mani and my ensemble I was wearing. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Giege, I've had starring looks when I'm in heels and a skirt but never a confrontation like you had. I would just ignore his comments and go about my business as usual. I never heard the phrase "smoked my behind". There are a lot of crazies out there. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Yes, I know that he sold the business and that his wife died a couple of years ago. We used to get together and show off our new heel purchases and go shopping at my area stores when he visited me. We used to correspond regularly but I have not heard from him in over a year now. I even tried to call him on his cell phone with no luck. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Not a fan either. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I still like to wear short-shorts in the summer with my heels. I feel very comfortable wearing those ensembles. Happy Heeling, bluejay

If you remember one of our members Steve, from Ohio sold men's panty hose as a business. I have several pairs of his panty hose. I really like them very much with the built in fly. I don't know whatever happened to him as I have not heard from him in over a year. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Just got my newest Steve Madden knee boots. It's a perfect calf size for my legs.I'll put a link in for those boots Can't copy the link. Steve Madden "Twain" in grey suede color Happy Heeling, bluejay

I too have problems with calf size fit. My calf size is 15", Most women's size 11 boots come in a 16-18' calf for that size, much too big for me. I do not like that look at all. Several times I have taken bigger calf size boots to my shoemaker who cuts them down for me to 15" calf but at $65 a pair that gets expensive after a while. I've had him slim down about 8 pairs of boots, because I liked that particular style or color. I've had much better luck with some Nine West and Steve Madden boots as they are somewhat smaller in calf size on some of their models, so it's a hit and miss with a calf size. Happy Heeling, bluejay

CrushedVamp, I've been wearing pantyhose, tights and leggings for years. I don't usually hide them under pants but wear them openly to show the world what I'm wearing. I like wearing them with a skirt, dress and skorts and always with heels, both shoes and boots. I was introduced to wearing hose by a former girl friend over 45 years ago. My wife is totally OK with me wearing hose. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Giege, My boots are all solid colors, that's the way I like them, I wear mine with mini skirts and leggings this time of year, usually with tights if I'm wearing a mini skirt. In the spring I'll pair therm with skorts. I do not wear boors in the summer. Usually it's with heeled sandals, mostly slides but one in a while with a pair of pumps. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Giege, I have to disagree with you disapproval of go-go boots. I like them very much and I have them in a rainbow of colors. I do not consider them as go-go boots of the 60" and 70". I just like to wear them because they are very comfy to walk in with the 3-1/2" small block heels, which brings me to the point of agreeing with you on the small block heels of which most of my heels are, both boots and shoes. I do have a few pairs of stilettos which I wear very little of. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Shyheels, I love wearing my shinny go-go boots, i have them in a lot of colors, including black, white, red, purple, hot pink, royal blue, yellow, brown, lime green, gold, silver and light pink. I gets lots of compliments from both women and men wearing them. I wear them with tights, leggings and my skirts, dresses and skorts in the warmer weather. It's a lot of fun wearing them out and about. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Giege , I would wear those flat heel boots as I did wear a pair of mine on New Year's Eve on a shopping trip with my wife. We were having heavy snow falling at the time so my heeled boots were definitely out of the question. Mine were just a plain riding boot with 1" heels and no ornamentation like yours, however I would wear a pair like yours in a heartbeat! Happy New Year Happy Heeling, bluejay

Just to let everyone know that I had to go out on Christmas Eve to do some last minute shopping. I wore my Land's End , green with white stripes rugby dress which goes to just above my knee, with white tights, red patent knee boots with 3-1/2" chunky heels and a red puffer jacket. Got a couple of compliments, even from a guy on my ensemble. Great day to be out in a dress and heeled boots in a Holiday festive color scheme. Merry Christmas to all my fellow heelers! Happy Heeling, bluejay

I too love wearing both my leather pants and leather leggings. I even have a leather mini dress and leather skort that I wear in warmer weather. I love the look and feel of leather real or imitation. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Yesterday, I went to my nail salon to get my Christmas mani. I got the usual clear/pink gel on my hands with designs on my little pinkies. On my left pinkie I got red and white stripes for a candy cane. My right pinkie a white base with a green Christmas tree with colored ornaments and a gold star on top. Incidentally I wore a green sweatshirt dress, with black tights and my red patent knee boots. My nail tech liked my ensemble I wore very much. Happy Heeling, bluejay

HiH, I'm going to wear those boots with a a grey sweater dress and black tights. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Love your ensemble. Your new boots look great on you. The fit is perfect on you, another guy that has thin calves like myself. That's an ensemble that I would definitely wear. BTW. Happy Birthday to your wife. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I just bought a sweater dress from Land's End. I like it very much. The hemline goes to just above my knee. It's a perfect fit with a pair of brown tights and a pair of my brown, Steve Madden knee boots with a 3-1/2" block heels. I'il put a link to my new dress from Land's Endhttps://www.landsend.com/products/womens-cotton-blend-cable-crew-neck-sweater-dress/id_391327?attributes=44967,19337 Happy Heeling, bluejay

I just got these new big block heel boots in a burgundy color . The heel measures 4-3/4" with a i" platform. In my size 11 it's a very steep heel as Mirose would put it. Haven't got to wear them out yet, just too much snow here. Third snowstorm here in the last 5 days but warmer temps are on the way for Thursday. Going to get to 50 degrees F Wow!. I added a link to my new boots.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7GXMPYJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1 Happy Heeling, bluejay

Higherheels, for both those reasons. My wife does not like me wearing stilettos. She says too feminine looking but she's ok with block or stacked heels. Happy Heeling, bluejay
-
I like to wear pumps. They fit me fine however I do not wear any heel size over 4" and they have to be chunky or stacked heels. No stilettos at all! Happy Heeling, bluejay
