He's still around, but he's not wearing heels anymore. He's into wearing Tiek's women's flats, big time. His wife passed away about a year ago. I still correspond with him occasionally . We were supposed to get together last July, when he was attending an event nearby but he got sick and had to return home to Ohio. Mirose, that guy your referring to is Steve from Ohio. He sold his hosiery business several years, ago to someone from Canada. I have several pairs of his hosiery and I like them a lot. They are definitely for a guy as they have a fly in them. They are 80d. They are not very heavy. If you guys are looking for a heavier pair of tights get fleece lined women's tights or leggings. Shyheels, I have a pair of men's purple dress pants and a pair of women's purple pants. On this side of the pond purple pants are not that hard to come by. Incidentally purple is my wife's favorite color. Mine is blue. Happy Heeling bluejay

Mirose, I bought that pink suit on Amazon a few years ago. You're not the first one to ask where I got that pink suit from. As far as the other colors I got them over the years from various stores and possibly on line too. When you're looking for a particular color just google it in. When you're looking for something in particular you can usually find it on line. Happy Heeling, bluejay t Shyheels, I don't like wearing midi or maxi skirts. When I wear skirts or dresses (sweat shirt dresses in the winter, which I have in a rainbow of colors too) I like my hemline to be just above my knee. When it's cold out, I wear them with tights (sometimes fleece lined) or with leggings. In the summer bare legged or with pantyhose. I also like to wear skorts in the summer. With the shorts on the inside of the skort, I like to wear them with a mini hemline. I also love to wear fishnet hose too. I'm not afraid to show off my legs and I'm very comfortable with that look! I failed to mention in yesterday's post that I also wear many different colors of suit coats in my wardrobe. I have suit coats in pink, purple, yellow, royal blue, kelly green, red, orange and white. My pink coat has a matching pair of pink pants but I think it's too much pink, so I wear the pink jacket with black pants and the pink pants with a black or white jacket. I'm always dressed for church on Sunday wearing a jacket, dress shirt and tie with my heels, just like Melrose. I'm always color co-ordinated and I get compliments from both men and women on my ensembles. The gals all like to see my heels, that I'm wearing, although I have had men compliment me on my choice of heels whether it be shoes, booties or knee boots. That is my winter wardrobe with a suit coat and tie. In the summer time it's a rainbow of polo shirts that I wear to church with dress pants and heels. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I don't worry about wearing any color of clothing or footwear. I wear pinks, purples, yellows and reds. You name it I wear it. I like wearing a lot of color. that's why I wear a lot of feminine styles as men's colors are too boring for me. Even my 97 year old father-in-law wears any color shirt with his suits but he doesn't wear heels. LOL Happy Heeling, bluejay

I had a similar experience to Giege yesterday, while shopping at DSW shoe store. I was wearing a sweat shirt dress with a hemline above my knee, with winter white knee boots, when I encountered a woman maybe in her 40's who said that I looked great. I was also wearing leggings too. As always, I thanked her for the compliment. Upon check out, with two finds from the clearance rack, I told the cashier that I loved her mani, which was very appropriate for the Christmas season. Each one of her nails was done with a different Christmas decoration. I had to show her mine with the Christmas Tree on one pinkie and the candy cane on my other pinkie. She replied " I love them". As I have said in the past I love to wear leggings with my heels. Ankle length in the colder months and capri length in the warmer months. I will not hide them under pants at all, as I love wearing leggings, with my heels boots or shoes. Happy Heeling, bluejay

I always get pedicures and mani's. I always get a red color on my toes except for October when I get bright pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. On my hands I get a light pink gel and colored art work on my little pinkies. In fact I'm going today, for my Christmas mani. I will be getting a Christmas Tree with colored ornaments on one pinkie and a candy cane on the other pinkie. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Goose, as you will find out the more you wear heels, the more you'll want to wear them. I love wearing heels and my wife it totally OK with it. I'm not at all concerned about wearing my heels out to be seen. I even have some women friends who are always looking to see what kind of heels, I'm wearing and get compliments many times. Mirose, Funny that you bring up the subject of Dr. Scholl's wooden slides. I remember back then, that I had a girlfriend of mine at the time, that bought me a matching pair of her Dr. Scholl's, in navy blue. We wore them out together. That's when she decided that I needed a colored pedicure on my toes. From that time on I have gotten regular pedi's on my toes, which is mainly red except in October when I get them in bright pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Shyheels, I have a fauxe leather mini skirt, and I do wear it with fishnet hose, with pumps in the warmer months and knee boots in the colder months. I have gotten a few compliments wearing those ensembles. I like to dress and wear what I like, with leather and fishnets, those are favorites of mine!!!!!! Happy Heeling, bluejay

My favorite work boots are from Red Wing #202 which I have been wearing them for the last 25-30 years or so. Before that it was Knapp work shoes for 25-30, after which that company went out of business. I really like the style and comfort of the Red Wing #202. The Laredo , slip on boots are also fair. I did have a pair of them over the years but those gave me very little support for my feet but they were easy to get on and off. I don't wear steel toe work shoes as I do not need them, as I'm the owner of my business. I have enclosed a link to the Red Wing # 202. Yesterday, I was out wearing my above the knee, sweatshirt dress in royal blue with a pair of cream colored knee boots. Went to the nail salon, yesterday to get my Christmas mani. As usual my tech was glad to see me and complimented me on my appearance. I wore a pair of black leggings with candy canes on them, red fleece top with my red patent go go boots, with 3-1/2" chunky heels. Got my normal clear/light pink gel on my nails. On my right pinkie a white base with red, green and gold candy canes on it. On my left pinkie a white base again with a green Christmas tree with red,gold and silver ornaments on it. Very colorful.
