  1. I can only wish that my wife would encourage my boot outings. But I will settle for tolerance and acceptance. If my wife goes on my outings in high heel boots, she is just along for the ride and needed an outing too. But if she ever decides to initiate by telling me to get my high heel boots on and take her out to dinner I will definitely be excited in my next post and will let everyone know at HHP.

Funny that I mentioned it, but this past weekend my wife jokingly said, "Get on your boots, you're taking me to lunch." I was always joking with her to say this to me, as sort of a win-win outing. This was after I was already reaching for my boots and changed in my car. She was just eager to go to lunch. Later on we went heeling again, that Saturday night to the movies. I will definitely let our HHP members know if she initiates a genuine invitation to go out heeling with her.

  2. That's great that your wife not only accepts your heeling, but actually encourages it. You outing would have been a perfect occasion to take a picture with both of your heels, and have us guess which was yours, and which was your wife's. Maybe next time!

  3. i really like those.. how do they feel on..and after u have worn them for a while???

    wobbles-

After a couple of wearings my wife enjoyed wearing her black ankle boots over the holidays. They are comfortable for walking, she just can't stand in them for long periods of time. She enjoyed going to the movies in them on New Years Day.

  4. Today at first I was contemplating staying at home to do other tasks, but then my wife reminded me "I thought you wanted to go heeling in your boots." So I had to change my mind and go out after hearing that since her tolerance and acceptance is growing. Today my wife and I did something completely different, we both went out in our high heel boots together. I wore my brown high heel boots, and she wore her new black ankle boots that we purchased at our last heel meet. Today we had lunch at Chili's Restaurant (US) followed by an afternoon at a local cinema to see Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Hardly anyone noticed or had a reaction to my heels. I was feeling lucky and daring in terms of heeling adventures, so after a brief stop at home, we headed back out to a bargain theater to see Burlesque. Despite this film's low box office gross, there was an unusual turnout at this theater. Yet with this season's cold weather, just about everyone was wearing boots. So I didn't stand out too much, and their theater was dimly lit in their lobby. Spent about 8 hours in boots and both outings were good overall, having my wife by my side in heels made it feel like a small heel meet.

  5. Post #200 Today I took a daring step by wearing my tall black cowboy boots to work, jeans tucked in, temporarily until I changed into my dress shoes when I arrived. I was dressed in all black, black dress shirt, black jeans and black boots. So there was less attention since there was no color contrast which would make the boots stand out too much. If anyone might point out my boots, I would have simply said that they were my "snow boots" since we would have 2-4 inches of snow tonight. When I arrived I kept my boots on for about a few minutes, greeted one lady who was talking on the phone. Everyone else who was in the office at the time were already at their cubicles. Started warming up the coffee machine, wearing my boots. Then finally changed into dress shoes while it was pouring. My new office is for the most part a conservative office where men dress in business casual. Yet of course, there are several young women who wear stiletto boots, jeans tucked in (jealous). Spent the whole day in dress shoes, and finally it was time to leave for our Christmas office dinner. So I decided to wear my cowboy boots for the first time jeans tucked in at the restaurant. In other Christmas office parties in the past, I would be in a full business suit, but with this new office I would go casual. I figured I would get some joking or criticism for dressing up like Johnny Cash, LOL. Fortunately the restaurant was relatively dark, and it was sports night with NFL football game, Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings, with playoff implications. I found just me and my supervisor at the entrance waiting to be seated. We soon found our long table arrangement for our party of about 15. So I found myself sitting down for most of the evening, boots out of sight, underneath the table. Everyone in our party was busy conversing with each other, or watching the football game to take real notice of my boots. Dinner went through smoothly, but then I started wondering when I would get called out for wearing my boots. I remember confirming with one of the fashion critical employees, that if you don't want to get called out or be the subject of many jokes, you dress conservatively especially if you are a guy. So I waited for the right time to leave and thank the bosses. I could not be the first or second to leave. I could just imagine everybody talking behind my back as I walked out of the restaurant. Turns out since it was snowing heavily, the shallow and beautiful people had to leave early since they live far away. In fact the bosses, except for one left early as well, since the commute time would be longer. Finally I left at the same time as my supervisor, since I escorted her to the nearby garage parking. As we trodded through the snow, my boss was thinking to herself that she needed snow boots. I just agreed, and said that it was that kind of weather. I was very correct to wear boots today with all that snow. Who knows if I will get any mention of my boots at the office, but for now it was a good, lucky outing all in all. My 95% confidence level in cowboy boots went up to 96%, at least for today. Now if only I can wear my cowboy boots fully exposed at work all day without hesitation, and wear my boots in front of my side of the family (very fashion critical). This may very well be a one-time event. But if I knew that my coworkers actually liked my boots and how I wear them, I may try it again. Spent six hours in boots after work, also hoping to inspire other HHP members and gain more courage from their adventures as well.

  6. First time putting on high heel boots was quite a thrill. So far my biggest thrill ever was spending the weekend in boots at the Canton, OH, USA heel meet earlier this month. Didn't worry about who saw me since I was traveling out of state. And bringing my wife along for this heel meet made this vacation even more special.

  7. My wife is getting more used to seeing me in my high heel boots. Probably best words to describe her feelings about my boots would be tolerant and accepting. She is just glad to be going out on outings with me. We started out our afternoon with lunch at a busy fast food restaurant. There were several families with children and older groups who paid no attention to my boots, which is my kind of outing. Today we saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. This is the first big time movie with huge crowds that I saw in my boots from my avatar. Needless to say there was a long line in front of the theater entrance. Everybody saw me and my boots, then went back to talking amongst themselves as I joined the queue. I am starting to walk more confidently, as if I belong in these boots. After the movie was over I confidently walked past the next groups of people who were waiting anxiously to be let in. For the most part they paid no attention to me. All in all, an excellent outing in boots.

  8. After the demise of the legend that is Richard Whitely (R.I.P) Countdown went down the tubes. Rachel Riley isn't a patch on Vorderman. I don't know why Rachel was chosen. She has no class and looks really awkward. She dresses like she's going to a cheesy high street disco. I prefer the more demure but quietly confident types.

Don't get me wrong. Rachel Riley's attractive, but she would need a brain transplant for me to fancy her.

Here's a classic clip of Countdown

    Enjoy.

    Regards,

    Ben

Just had to throw this in there.

Speaking of Carol Vorderman, love her overall jeans and boots look in this short clip:

  9. I would like to reenact some of my favorite scenes from movies, TV and music videos in boots. It would be quite a fantasy to do something like holding the robbers/bad guys at gun point with my legs spread apart until the cops arrive to take them away, or a high speed car chase. It were possible to do in heels, I would do a sexy martial arts fight scene. Or maybe even singing and dancing in my boots.

  10. Last weekend, at the Canton, OH (USA) heel meet I had my big adventure. For the most part I spent the majority of the weekend in my boots. It was lots of fun going shopping, dining out and pumping gas in boots. Being out of state, it felt good to be free and not worry about someone I know seeing me. I hope to have another weekend in boots sometime soon.

  11. I have never had a pair of 5 inch heels, since 4 inches is my limit anyway. But I love driving in heels, just drove last weekend to the Canton Heel Meet in my boots from my avatar. Drove for over 800 miles, round trip. It was quite an adventure that I will never forget.

  12. At last I have a chance to contribute to this post. For our members at HHP, here is a picture of a pair of ankle boots that we purchased for my wife at this most recent heel meet in Canton, OH, USA. They are black ankle boots from BX by Bronx. We took this picture from our hotel suite after shopping at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse.

  13. For those who did not get a good look, here is a picture of my wife's new ankle boots that we bought for her. This was taken after we went shopping and are back at our hotel suite. They are black ankle boots from BX by Bronx, purchased at DSW in Canton.

  14. Just returned from our visit to Canton, OH, USA. First time spending a vacation in boots, and it was my biggest adventure to date. My wife is getting more used to me being in boots around her and growing more tolerant over time, she even took a picture of me kicking up my heels on an ottoman at our hotel suite.

  15. HH MEET N Canton Ohio SpikesMike, Steve, Wobbles, and My self Johnieheel. Thank uall for a really great time.!!! And also thanks to radiodave, kinkyinboots and wife. Hope to see you all next year.

Just to mention again for everybody at HHP, johnieheel is doing the "Captain Morgan" pose in his pic. LOL

  16. What a fun time we had visiting Canton, OH, USA. Just got back from lunch at Ruby Tuesday, followed by a visit to DSW Shoe Warehouse. My wife came along on this heel meet and purchased a pair of black ankle boots (BX by Bronx). It was nice to see spikesmike again. I enjoyed meeting johnieheel, wobbles, radiodave and Steve63130. Just relaxing in a lounge chair at our hotel suite and kicking up my high heel boots on an ottoman. What I like about heeling outside of my hometown is that I feel free. If anyone has a negative opinion about my heels, I don't care since they won't see me again. And I don't have to worry about someone I know spotting me. We are in Canton for the weekend, tomorrow we are looking forward to visiting their Pro Football Hall of Fame.

  17. I had a chance to meet kittyinboobs at the Chicago H H Meet on Tues, 10-05-2010. Nice boots, nice time, short meeting. Sorry we couldn't talk longer about high heels. Mike.

Fortunately, I will be at the Akron/Canton, Ohio heel meet 11-6-10. We can visit more then. This time my wife is coming along for the ride.

  18. I reserved a hotel room for that weekend. So my wife and I are going. If it is okay with our group, I will pass on any group pics. Most likely we will be at Ruby Tuesday for lunch then browse for a little bit at DSW Shoe Warehouse, then call it a day since that is probably all my feet can handle. Looking forward to this heelmeet and meeting up with fellow members.
