Wedges, block heels, I have some skinnier ones too.
My relief is from the differential, not the type of heel, but wedges and block heels are easier to spend 12-14 hours in.

I use heels to change how my femur sits in the hip joint. I look at the difference between toe height and heel height, I need over 3 inches for 80% relief and 3.75 to 4.5 inches or more for complete relief (most of the time). I have over 40 heels with around 4 inch difference. I have one pair, Victoria's Secret Ruched Velvet platform stiletto sandals. I have worn them about 10-12 times, about 3 - 4 times a years.

Welcome.
There are a few on this site that get pain relief from heels, I being one of them. Get some newer heels are leave those heels for lawn aeration.

There's more to gel pads than just pain relief. The gel pads I use keep my feet from skipping down and binding my toes. This is extremely important to me since I will wear my heels for over 12 hours straight, standing most of the time.
While I prefer to try heels on before I purchase them, sometimes I don't have that option. For example, I like Freebirds and many times there isn't a store that carries the style I want. So I have to order them over the internet. No choice. But I can take them back to the local Steve Madden store for a full refund.

I am not asking what you do at home behind close doors. I put my heels on at 7 in the morning and go off to work. I only take them off when I get home, sometimes around 8 at night. Day after day.
What I am asking is for those that wear open-toe heels on a regular and consistent (daily) basis, what do you do with your toes?

Since there has been a lot of talk about "men's wear" and heels, but no topic started, I thought I would start one.
I wear open-toed high heels sandals most of the summer. I wear them with shorts and long pants. Because I show my toes, I have them painted.
What do other men do when they wear open-toed heels with long pants or shorts (sorry Meganiwish - SHORTS)?

Talk about man-bun is talk about men's fashion, it's a new men's hair style, not mine, but a man's style none the less. Another men's style now is men's skinny jeans (again not my style). Where did style come from?
So what do you do with your toes when you wear open-toed heels with your dress pants?

Worn them to work, Home Depot, just whatever I need to do when I have them on....but I can't drive in them...also don't want to wear out the backs while driving. These are the hardest pair I have to walk in, but they are the sexiest pair I own. And they are head-turning, women drop their jaws when they see them. It's really funny to see this.
