I manage to get a second day in a row to myself! Went out sunday to a rather large shoping mall an hour or so away and did some shopping. Sadly everything was very picked though and I didn't end up finding anything.

I wore my faux leather pencil skirt and my black aldo boots! It was a fun day wandering around but now I'm on the look for some stiletto boots since I think they would have completed this outfit a little better than these block heels.

    wow, good for you!!

I'm never sure what is the attraction of added clear vinyl panels (or straps etc).   They are not needed to strengthen what would be quite an attractive D'Orsay cutaway court like these and, to my mind, cheapen the overall look.     But if they get your wife back into heels ...

    Totally agreed.

She took them to a wedding we went to last night, but opted for another pair of heels instead. Been ages since she has worn heels, so was nice regardless. Sooooo many stunning heeled boots and heels there... OMG!
When we got back, she said she'd have to check these heels out at another event. I asked her if I can check them out too, she said yes 🙂

Picked these up on sale at DSW while out Christmas shopping this weekend. I love so many of the J Simpson styles but find they usually run very narrow for my wide feet. These are cut low enough to sit below the widest part of the foot so they actually fit nicely.

Purchased these recently, new unused on ebay for a bargain. Buffalo London, all leather, super comfortable too. The carpet im standing on is quite soft so they look lower than they are.

    loving both pairs

welcome back to me, after quite a while.

My wife picked these up from a thrift shop, for a few pounds. what a win! She never wears heels, but claims she will wear these to an appropriate event. Somehow, i think i might get more wear out of them.

Been hiding heels for long time.  Wore once with wife and went well.  Well now we are empty nesters,   Other day she went to office and I stayed home.  While home I wore my heels.  But this time I left them out for her to see when got home. Response was positive.  Hope to wear them more.  Outside may be a stretch with her for some time. But that’s ok.

Cool. Keep it up, easy does it! ... and if not - you'll hear about it ;-)

Just got these Nine West ankle boots...  Brand new and very inexpensive on ebay.  US women's size 10.5 and the fit perfectly.  The exact style I love, nice pointed toes and classic stiletto heels.  Super easy to walk in with 4.5" heels and comfortable, have put a few miles on them already.  And, being ankle boots/booties, they are easy to pack.

Yeah, I know, the levis don't fit properly inside the boots....I just pulled em up to expose the short shafts....D

Stunning indeed! Love the stiletto heel.

Here is a couple of purchases from the other day.  I got them both in a thrift store for less that 20 bucks!  the brown ones are le chateau brand with a 3 1/2" chunky heel.  The gray ones are suzy shier brand with a 3 1/2" stiletto heel.  Cant wait to take both pairs out for a spin.

I like both @Mr. X but particularly the ankle boots. Enjoy!

Found these on clearance today, I was hoping for red, but the price was too good.

    Louboutin Tanja 100.

    photos wearing them soon.

I for one, love this style. There is something very appealing to me about a wedge heel in stiletto style!

Quick trip to Nordstrom rack yesterday on my way to an appointment. Shelves are finally looking full again! But sadly not to many heels mostly sneakers and flats.

    How disappointing.

You, on the other hand, look great.

Awesome collection man, especially the extensive wedges and sandals selection! Hope to see you modeling them down the road.

    Thanks 😊

Will try got to that soon. That is after all the fun part!

I realize now that the snaps from above certainly are not the most attractive angle to take of heels...

  10. I still have a bunch of updates to write here one day soon

but for now - small update - I inventoried my heels today first time in a loooong time. Surprised myself with 39 pairs!!!! Also took the opportunity to clean them up a little, as well as the area i store them under my bed - and to snap some pics of them (individually and group shots!). We might be redoing our bedroom furniture, am not sure what kind of storage i will have after that happens...

    So here is the summary:

    11 tall boots:

    • 3 otk, + 8 knee high (2 of which are just up onto the knee)
    • 3 flat, 2 wedge, 5 stiletto, 1 block heeled
    6 ankle boots
    5 pumps
    7 sandals:
    • 2 block heels and 5 stiletto
    9 wedges
1 flat 🤣 (inherited from the wife)
In my pics here i have some additional pairs - some of those are borrowed from the wife.
here are the group shots, if anyone want close up of a particular pair, lets me know.

    Tall boots:

    Ankle boots:

You are 100% right, specially in São Paulo… every day, when going to work you can ser dozens of heels in the streets over 2”.

In my office, I would say 30-40% of all women wear over 2” heels in a daily basis. Some os them go almost extreme with 4-5” heels (with platforms).

    Can’t complaint either!

Sounds like a dream indeed, compared to what most of us are seeing these days, when sloppy flats are more common than sliced bread ... 🙄
