However the fact you have found it now and it can help you in anyway is an absolute benefit to life as far as I can tell! Welcome and hope all get s better for you! Mtnsofheels

  2. I saw this video clip and story yesterday from Sydney Aus.

It would be a interesting thing to host at the Feb Heel Meet, a 60 yard dash to a sales bin of high heel shoes, LOL.

    Very Entertaining..

If link does not work, Daily Telegraph in Sydney, search for Stiletto Sprint.

  3. Hi corsetgirl, Really nice job on the photos and putting the outfits together with those corsets. Looks very appealing on you! Corsets can do that for many people and for everyone to see. They are a fabulous creation that makes you feel and show the curves of desire. I have several, I can tell a person "you feel how you look", as you well know. Than means great and senuous! Great for you to use corsets to the upmost delivery, you look fabulous. Mtnsofheels

  4. The long flared pants do the trick for sure. I have worn a 2" heel knee high boot that has a rubber sole, silent and not conspicuous. Mind you I have several pairs of those type of boots. I also have a 3 pairs of wedge boots which bring no stares and or comments. Zappos has a good selection of those, Fitzwell has a great selection of wedge boots that is wide and up to size 12 in some models. I have also had a cobbler silence some of my heeled boots with a rubber heel, makes a difference walking in a marbled mall on Friday mid-day. But now my give a sh** factor has allowed me just go just as I am. However at the testosterone charged Calgary Stampede one should heel with low noise rubber on those HH cowgirl boots! Mtnsofheels

  5. Once I was aware of my embarrassing interest of high heels, I had to suffer a while till I got the courage to get a pair of shoes boots whatever spun the interested eye. But then a new demon emerged, I liked shopping for shoes and boots! God all I wanted was a pair of heels in boots or shoes! This was in the late 70's. Of course I had GF who needed a pair of heels in a size 10. I never met that fictious GF, although I have used her many times for my shopping into the 80's. Then it became blatant, that GF was not, so again resorted to the courage, finally a mustered me went and tried on several pairs of boots and shoes with my wife in a shop in Seattle. What became an interesting phenome was that the person helping me was more flustered than I, so the fear of shopping died once I knew I could fluster some one else before me. Ah Yes!! But god the sweat, shaking legs, pacing back and forth, constant staring and no doubt drooling that occured in order to get my first pair of heels was such an epic, good thing an imagination and vision of that Girlfriend allowed me to get my first pair of heels. I still have them today and I think of that epic, "first crawl to heels". Nowadays, the internet has built everyone a wardrobe of shoes and boots at the firm punch of the enter key. Mtnsofheels

  6. Update on those boots I saw yesterday, found them again on Shoes.com, they produed by Carlos by Carlos and called "Santana Womens Biker" at $225. They are sized upto 11/42 womens on their page. Mtnsofheels

  7. I thought about that as a second profession/career over the last while. But I think I would rather be the designer and test driver for a known company. That way you get all the wear and tear plus collaborating with other shoeaholics in places like Milan, Paris, London and New York. That is assumming they feel the same way I do about boots/shoes. The idea is to travel and wear boots/shoes all the time. Ah yes its a dream perhaps........ Mtnsofheels

  8. I just saw those boots this morning through the Victoria Secrets web page under boots. They are awesome, called "biker boot" . I could be quite happy to wear those all the time. I think I saw boots like that some years ago on a woman riding a red Harley Davidson. That, with her leather chaps and blonde hair flowing from under the helmet almost caused my demise over the eminent cliff into the ocean at Big Sur California. They have been forever etched into my mind. Mtnsofheels

  9. Interesting about observations in Germany. I was passing through Frankfurt airport last year going to Italy. I was impressed to see a fellow of smaller stature nice orange cashmere looking sweater, a pair lovely black pin-stripe pants and pair I guess 3" black slingbacks on with black sheer hose. It looked really good, lots of people around and nobody even took notice except for me, being envious of course. He also had a small moustach which I though placed him in our kind of league. At that point it gave me comfort and confidence to wear my own wedge boots in Italy. Mtnsofheels

  10. Wow the selection is staggering! I mean my own selection, I have lots of both, mens and womens. My outdoor work requires climbing and ski boots. Scads of those, my fav heeled boot selection runs into the teens from thighhighs to booties, shoes with heels is about 8 pairs. Regular mens I have about 8-10 pairs. It is about a a 40% with boots/heels 40% outdoor and 20% for mens shoes. Oh I forgot biking shoes too, well the closet is pretty full. One thing is for sure I do not spend alot of time sitting, so boots or boots is most of the time and then the formal times. Mtnsofheels

  11. Hi Beigeboots, I have not seen Sky scrapers before, they have a good selection of boots. I have several pairs of low heel boots I wear often, recently I have been wearing a pair of Fitzwell Paivia 4"heel wedges from Zappos.com, rubber heel quiet on a tile floor and no notices them with the jeans. I also have a pair Hilfiger Boots with a 4" seamed heel which a save for good occasions and a nice pair jeans. They are hot items for sure. Lots boot out there and I intend wear boots as much as possible. like the old saying, "so many shoes and boots and so little time" Interesting story about the fellow with the pony tails, time to go heeling! 13. Hi Bootsforme, It is hard to find some nice boots for sure especially in a off the rack selection. I have order a short time ago some boots from Gaborit Boots in France. Ordered the Siri and claire models. They have lots of boots to choose from as well. Looking forward to those. Another producer of different style of boots is Fluevog Shoes and Boots in Vancouver BC. I have several differnet ones over the years which have been very good. I have asize 8UK/11 womens, I see some of here styles come in womens 12 which might work for you. I also am trying find a boot contact from the US that carries riding and western boots in alot sizes. I think it was West Coast riding boots... hmm will try to find that for you. Mtns of heels

  14. Greetings Beigeboots! Yup we are all cut from the same fabric, we like the heels, on boots and shoes that we like to wear. You are normal, just as we are. It is the others that think it is wrong or weird to wear High Heels who are abnormal. Welcome to HHplace, our safe place. Mtns of heels

  15. Greetings and welcome to HHPlace. Also I am another Canadian who found this community and like minded people for which heels/shoes and boots are a major interest. Hope your interest in heels continues, we have a whole lifetime of wearing them ahead of us. How exciting is that! Enjoy! Mtns of heels

  16. Greetings 40knockin! This place is an excellent find, and as words placed before state, she will find out and already knows, she now has has the chance to know her best friend you much more and you get to share with her an awesome interest so dear to you. I did that with my GF and it has taken a load off my mind as well, (namly fear of rejection) and allowed me to be who I really am. It just takes some time and the right moment. But so far you have found the first step-here. Welcome Mtns of heels
