Actually they are not that extreme. The seller (italianheels) likely takes photos of very small sizes. I have one other pair of their pumps and in my size the heel barely measures 6". Not at all like some of the extreme heels that the chinese sellers offer.

I would wear these heels for special evenings. I am reasonably comfortable in 6" heels for an evening.... I could never manage them all day for work and shopping. I am a trans lady and for some reason I am sure you can appreciate, a higher heel makes me feel more "dressed-up" for a special evening.

Something I'd love to see. I hope you're right about the pumps, they do adjust height for shoe size. Send us modeled pictures when they arrive.

Heelers; I admire StilettoLuv's ambition toward wearing a shoe with a heel that high. I am betting that is a seven (7") inch high heel. I have several shoes with heels that high. Of all places a very comfortable pair came from Fredricks of Hollywood. Mike

Mike, you're able to wear some steep heels, love most of them. You ever decide to sell your inventory for what ever reason please let me know. You have many styles that are not so available anymore.

Yes, I spent about seven weeks driving around the backroads from one end of the state to the other and absolutely loved it. Looking back it was one of my most enjoyable assignments, and this in thirty-odd years of trotting the globe.

It's particularly beautiful in late July and August when the corn and alphalfa crops are rich and green. Drive for miles and barely run across anyone or drive the small old towns sprinkled about.

Admittedly in February not so much. Miles and miles of dark brown dirt, not enough snow to cover. That can actually be a bit depressing.

  3. Mlroseplant, I lived in Omaha, Millard specifically, for 4.5 yrs. There is barely a flat spot in the city. It's a decent sized city with a broad cultural base, not what I expected when I moved there. This was back in 91 thru 96, when I really first started wearing heels. I went public a few times back then, was still worried about acceptance, a condition all of us new male heel wearers seem to struggle with. Anyway, in those few times I never had any issues.

What school did he play at?

Walking on concrete is not always easy. I had to walk several blocks on a concrete sidewalk that sloped from the building to the street. About a 20 degree slope. Also exposed agate can be challenging in stilettos as well as polished concrete and wet weather.

20 degrees is pretty steep. Even San Francisco doesn't actually have 20 degrees slope.

Yes the Italian Heels website is quite dates, but they do respond well to emails and their service is excellent as are their boots and shoes (although I’ve only ever bought boots)

I have 2 pair of pumps. Super comfortable but they do show a well worn look quickly. They rapidly conform to your feet and quickly wrinkle and bulge once worn. Personally I love the look of well worn heels but if you're more into shoes looking trim and clean these may disappoint you. They currently run at about $200 before shipping.

See my heels at work posts. I pictured both pair there.

I guess I am largely back, after my hiatus from serious heeling. Although it's still at the limit of what I can walk in semi-gracefully, I wore my Steve Madden Klory pumps to church, which sport 4 3/4" heels.

    excellent looking pumps.

On occasions when she wears the black pumps, we'll probably match. For example, next week we go to Paris. We'll do a night at The Ritz. She'll wear an elegant dress, the black pumps.

Love to see a couple pose, if she's willing.

@kneehighsCongtradulations, and I hope things work out for you both. Make sure she alays has the nicer shoes on. :)

Don't worry if hers are nicer or not. Simply, should the 2 of you go long term you'll outlast her in heels. Men have actually better feet for high heels believe it or not. She'll stop wearing them well before you do.

Happy couple heeling. I'm a lone wolf, my wife can't wear heels even if she wanted to.

$100 including shipping seems like a bargain now.

Yah I'd buy many more if I could get that price.

These look to be in considerably better shape than the red ones. I'm not sure if the red ones are as worn as they appear in the picture, because sometimes photography can fool you.

I guess their about the same.
