  1. Are you happy with your shoe and foot size. Do you wish your feet were smaller (dainty), or larger, so you could wear higher heels? Are you embarrased with large feet, or proud of them? Are wide feet more of a problem than long feet? Are attitueds about women's shoes size changing along with the average size of women's feet?

I already commented on this subject, but i recently found out that a pair of my pumps looks VERY nice. I would go far to say that they look the NICEST of any pumps i own! The reason why they look so nice is because they are 8.5N (US). That is, they are narrow shoes, and the look of them on my feet makes them look so much nicer than the usual 8.5W(US) (The "W" is for wide, of course.) They don't fit my feet too bad, either! At first, when i put them on, it takes a bit of effort getting my feet into the toebox, but after that, when they slide on snug, then they look and feel VERY great! I will post pics soon, comparing them to other pumps i have.

I am thinking i should go shopping for narrow shoes from now on!

  2. some women are trying to get out of them, too. I wonder why?

Went to a nightclub last night, and at least three-quarters of the girls wore stiletto heels at least three inches high, and at least half of those were at least four inches. Saw several dozen at the 5 inch level as well.

That's the best thing in the world! Going to a nightclub, and seeing all the girls in pumps and miniskirts. One time, i was at a club, and this girl had some hot white stiletto pumps, and she had them off her feet, just laying down on their sides under the table. I guess they were hurting her feet. I had such an urge to sneak over there and grab them!! I could have, since she was on the dancefloor a lot. I would have did my best houdini impression and disappeared with them! If they were my size, i would have hit the men's room and tried them on!
  3. I brought up a similiar topic about 2 months ago. I don't like toe cleavage! I love the vamp of a pump to cover the toes. It just looks majestic to see the shoe on a foot, looking so beautiful-fitting! Toe cleavage makes the pump look like it's irregular. Perhaps someone can post some pics and show first-hand how a pump SHOULD look (w/out toe cleavage) and how many users on this site prefer a pump to look (w/ toe cleavage) Anyone wanna do the honors?

  4. Hi all,

My wife thought I should try a pair of strappy heels or something open since summer is approaching. She also thinks it's a great way to show off the pedicure she wants to give me. I am kinda thinking i'd shy away from the look, but maybe give a try. My reason is, it's one thing to have heels on, but to start showing off my feet, which will get more attention with the shade of Red nail polish my wife picked out.

    Anyway - what's your thoughts?

    Seth

I like strappy heels, but only the classic pump with the strap over the toe, or the ankle. In other words, i prefer a closed-toe pump. Still, whatever floats your boat! If you like strappy ones, and wanna show off a pedicure, with red nail polish, then go for it! There's nothing like a good feet pampering, especially by a female.
  5. Go on ebay and buy one of those electrolysis pens. They aren't that expensive! One of them, i think it's called the E-Pen, has attachments that allow you to zap the hairs in large areas, so you don't have to take so long zapping each one. I won't be ever shaving my legs, but my face is a different story. I've always had VERY sensitive skin, and my hair grows back in a heartbeat whenever i shave. So, i am going to take my own advice and buy one of those E-Pen's on ebay, but not right now, since i have a lot of other things i've bid on lately. With the price of electrolysis here in the U.S. at salons, i think i will try the in-home solution.

  6. I was 19 at the time. After first getting to know pumps by invading my sister's closet, I wanted my own pair. I went to a shoe store near my school. I forgot the brand name, but they were generic, probably made in China. Still, i loved them. They were only a 3" heel. I purposely took a backpack to school, just so after school i could go buy the pumps. I got them home, and put them on my feet. It felt really nice! Since then, i have bought probably 50 to 100 pair. Most of them have been famous maker pumps, like Nine West, Allure, Chinese Laundry, Jessica Simpson, and Anne Klein.

  7. I got these last friday. From Ebay, they are "Delicious" shoes. I LOVE the rounded toe on them. It's short, not like a lot of pumps out there that are popular. VERY feminine shoe, highlighted by the buckle on the vamp. A BIT tight right now, since they are brand new. I'm wearing them in a little bit each day!

  8. Your post makes perfect sense. The shoes are Nine West, and they are made in China. Kinda Sad, because the original Nine West (They used to go by "9 West") were made in Brazil, which seems a bit more exotic than being made in China. The Leather was thicker, and nicer, for the old time 9 West pumps. That goes to show how times have changed, as more companies are outsourcing from China. Anyway, the seller from ebay contacted me, and offered to take them back and refund my money, but i told her nothin doin, the shoes fit fine! They were probably mismarked. I love them, because they were from a dept. store, as the display model, and many, many women have tried them on. They feel nice and loose! I'm walking on air with those babies on! They are Freda, which is a very beautiful pump, with a super long pointy vamp!

  9. Sorry I have not been around much to post in the forum ..hope this will do for now ..

i am in DEEP love with those hot pink pumps you have on! Beautiful! Lately, that's THE color i've been into. Trying to find more fuchsia/hot pink pumps. They have a store here in the U.S. called Shiekh, and they sell a pair of pumps that are hot pink that i want. Not anywhere near the hot pink ones you are wearing in those pics!! Sheesh they are NICE! Please let me know what brand they are and where you got them. thanks!! talk to you later!!
  10. Ok. I bid on a pair of pumps recently, and won them. They are Nine West Freda pumps. According to the seller, they were size 8.5. PERFECT! So i won them, and paid for them. They arrived at my house yesterday. On the familiar blue and silver Nine West shoebox, it says 9.5. I looked at one shoe, and on the bottom, it was printed "9.5M". On the OTHER shoe, it was printed, "8.5M". Both shoes fit like a charm, and are SO comfortable! I emailed the lady, just because she might have gotten the two pairs mixed up, and i wanted to make things right, just in case someone else bid and won a pair of size 9.5 Freda pumps. She didn't reply back yet. Has anyone ever bought a pair of shoes anywhere, and the sizes didn't match up? I don't even feel a difference between the two shoes. They both feel great on my feet, and fit like a charm. The 9.5 doesn't feel any looser than the 8.5. If she says that it's the only pair she has, then i'll just go with it. At any rate, i'll get a pair of beautiful Freda pumps, almost brand new, for about $15.00 cheaper than Macy's sells them for. I do have another pair of Freda, that i bought at Macy's. Those are dark red patent, but still beautiful.

  11. Well Highheelsgirl, you probably sold them to guys who think there is magic in those shoes because you, a woman, has owned them, has worn them. There is a LOT of value to a pair of shoes that a woman had owned before. I know the feeling! I have bought many pairs of pumps from thrift stores, swap meets, and from ebay. I would rather buy shoes that a woman has owned than buy brand new pumps. Why? Because, i am thinking that a woman has "Christened" them. She's put them on her feet, and gave them identity! They were no longer "just a pair of pumps." They became a sex symbol, since they had a woman's pampered feet (with painted toenails) in them. They became valueable to us guys, because there is a magic in women's shoes. He might not even have a wish to wear them. He just wanted to own a pair of pumps that a woman had on her feet. It may, in a certain way, solidify him as being a man who loves women. By the way, if you ever plan on selling more shoes on ebay, let me know. ;)
