  1. ok it's the deal of a lifetime, if you are into the Jessica Simpson "Henri" pump. Here in Las Vegas, at a Dillard's last night, i scored on some of these pumps! $17.49 a pair! They were originally $69.99, and the sign on the display said 50% off. I was thinking about $34.50 for the pair. Well, when i brought them to the counter, the lady says that it will be $18 plus change. I had to think about it, that i was hearing things, or she had the price wrong. NOPE! The price is RIGHT! $18 plus some change for a brand new pair of Jessica Simpson "Henri" pumps. I love the style, a round toe, sorta like the Steve Madden "Luvvy" pump, without the strap. I bought only 1 pair, the black patent, since all i had left from doing some shopping elsewhere was a $20. I think i will go back in there and get the red patent, and the blue patent pairs this weekend. Just think, about $55.00 for THREE brand new pair of Jessica Simpson pumps. If you have a Dillard's in your town, go there, you probably will get the same deal! Maybe the shoes are not very good sellers. They have other shoes there, too, up to 75% off on some of them. Baby Phat had some nice patent leather platform pumps for like $25.00.

  2. Here is a question for you Guys. Do you wear heels, or other women's shoes, while being intimate with your significant other? Remember Marv Albert, the former sportscaster with NBC Sports, who sometimes wore women's underwear while with his significant other(s)? It's just experimenting, to give, or receive the utmost pleasure. We all wanna have the earth-moving orgasm that temporary knocks us outta our bodies.

  3. i usually buy pumps. they can be a low-heel pump, or a stiletto. They usually are the almond-toe pumps, or classic pumps as they're sometimes called. I don't buy peep-toe pumps, or d'orsay pumps. i love patent leather pumps, or just regular leather pumps. I usually buy mine second-hand at thrift stores, but lately i've been buying brand new pair. This coming year, i plan to buy about 24 pair, at least 2 pair a month. I have a handful of pumps i am really anxious to get. Jessica Simpson puts out some great ones, but there are some pretty expensive ones (over $100) that i am going to get, too. One is called "Bijou" that is made by Report Signature. They were $180.00 at Macy's a few months ago. Now Macy's sells them about $101.00. I can find them cheaper online. I am into a very feminine pump, like with a buckle, a strap, or a bow. I don't like very ugly pumps. They must be really something that meets the eye.

  4. I kinda liked the square toe pumps. I have a pair, but the new rounded toe pumps are far superior. Round toe pumps like the Jessica Simpson "Henri" pump, and the Steve Madden "Luvvy" pump are so feminine and sweet looking! They feel so great on the feet, compared to pointed toes that get narrower and narrower until your toes are almost meshed together.

  5. My obsession with pumps is one that will most likely always stay with me, for life. Having said that, it's a personal thing, and a secret thing, as well. I will gladly go into women's shoe stores and look at, and buy pumps, but i will never try them on in the stores. It's my personal fetish of wearing women's shoes, and it's something i wouldn't do in public, unless it were halloween, which would be a pretty good way to wear pumps out on the streets without feeling uneasy. Lots of other guys on here feel differently, and to each his own. It's my own little fetish, and it stays private and personal with me.

  6. I've been frequenting this website for about a year now. I've seen quite a few posts, and seen quite a few avatars. It seems that we're all in pretty much agreement about what type of women's shoe we love the most. It's gotta be the pumps! It's not the slides, the wedges, the flats, the mules, the sandals, or anything like that. Boots can be lumped into the equation, too. Going further, it seems that closed-toe pumps are the prefered pump. Some like peep-toe, some like d'orsay pumps, but the closed-toe pump is king (or queen in this case.) Do we like them 4" and higher? Do we like them 4" and lower? Do we like kitten heel pumps? Do we like stilettos? Do we like platform pumps? Do we like fetish pumps? Do we like career pumps that you see in Macy's or Dillard's? Do we like bridal shoes? Well, i believe we like all of the above. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Are there some with a different opinion, that you like a wedge, or a flat, or a slide, or a mule, or a sandal? How about boots? Do you like stiletto boots, or low heel boots? Booties? Boots with a tall shaft? As for myself, I prefer pumps. I don't care if they're low heel, or high heel. I don't really like the platform pumps, for some reason. I don't really care for d'orsay pumps, or peep-toe pumps, either. I prefer them to be closed-toe, and pretty. I don't like an ugly pump like ones with chunky heels, unless they're very unusual, like one is saw on the Macy's web site the other day. It was made by Steve Madden, if i remember right, and it was hot pink. Anyway, that's a rarity for me. I usually like them with a thin heel. I love the ones with an ankle strap. I have put some Steve Madden "Steven" Mary Jane pumps on layaway at TJ Maxx, with two straps going over the foot. I also like flats, to some extent. I could wear some that would be fashionable. Boots are also very fashionable. I prefer them with a tall shaft, or even a bootie. As long as they are heeled boots. I don't like boots that have no heel. so, does anyone else have any likes and dislikes about which kinda shoe they really like more than others?

  7. Yeah, how can I try a pair of pumps like these in front of dozens of people?

Buy the shoes on or around halloween. That's what i've done. It wasn't a shoe store, but a thrift store. The lady at the counter was like "What are you dressing up on halloween as? A girl?" I just said, "Yeah". Little did the lady know that i wasn't going to, that i was going to be wearing the heels on any day of the year, not just halloween. Then, put them on to see if they fit.

  8. Here's a pump that really appeals to me. It's called Vanity-442, and it's made by Pleaser. It's white and pink patent. It just screams feminity, which i love in a pump. I am masculine, and straight, but these are just incredible looking! I'll be getting these in a few weeks. check them out!

and also, here's another pair i'll be getting in a few weeks. The Marc Fisher "Perla" pump. It also is full of feminity, and i love it, especially the buckle on the vamp.

  9. Ashley Olsen, or was it Mary-Kate, is famous for wearing heels. She said in a recent article that she loves walking around here house, naked, in heels. So there ya go! Someone who isn't on the list, but an icon who adores heels.

  10. I found that if you put a patent leather pump inside the freezer, with a bag of water inside it, the bag will freeze, and it will help stretch the shoe. Of course, you need to strategically place the bag where the shoe needs stretched, like right under the vamp, or the back of the shoe. I had a couple brand new pairs of pumps, size 8 1/2, as well as a used pair of pumps that is size 8 (as seen in a prior message than this one) that was stretched enough to wear using this method.

  11. I wear an 8 1/2 women's shoe, normally. i have used a shoe horn to put on some size 8 pumps that i bought once. Before using the shoe horn, i put a bag filled with water inside each shoe, and then put them into the freezer. The bags froze, stretching the shoes. Sometimes, i wear socks, which stretch the shoes even more. I am wearing the pumps now and then, to further wear them in. The back of the right shoe weakened a bit, becomming kinda flimsy, but i can still get my foot in it, where it then becomes stabilized. Good luck!

  12. If you are into shopping online, there are a few great online shoe sites that need a mention. One, is www.endless.com and this place sells shoes cheaper than Macy's or Dillard's or even Nordstrom (if you live in the US, you know how pricey those stores can sometimes be.) They also GIVE YOU $5.00 to ship your shoes to you. Yes, they ship them overnight service (if you live here in the US), so if you order them tomorrow, like around noon PST, you would receive them thursday, and they would take $5.00 off the total price. They sell the Jessica Simpson "Bellini" pump, which i adore, and i haven't been able to find here in las vegas locally. It goes for almost $90.00(US) at Nordstrom, but on Endless.com they have for half that, about $45.00. So, if i ordered them, i would only send them $40.00, and i'd get them the next day, provided i sent the money in earlier enough. I prefer to just use my credit card.

Another online site to mention is called 6pm.com and this place is quite a winner! It's got some great shoes, really exotic ones that retail for well over $100(US), and they sell those for about half the price. So check that site out! I've seen quite a few pumps there that are quite eye-catching, that Macy's or Dillard's or Nordstrom would sell for an arm and a leg, and 6pm sells them for A LOT less!

    so check them out!

  13. i have yet to see the movie. Maybe someone out there that frequents this great site here can start a topic about movies which feature high heels. How about this lady - the lovely Kim Basinger, in "Batman". She's got some killer white pumps on. The Joker, if anyone remembers the movie, takes one of the pumps, which comes off her foot, kisses it, and throws it down the stairwell of that tower he's carrying her up, towards the end of the movie. I made an animated gif of that scene, and put it on my desktop, by the way. I have to see Superman Returns, now!

  14. Tonight I just bought the Nine West "Gaffer" pump. It was on sale at TJ Maxx for $24.95. It's gold, but it's an okay looking pump. I almost bought a pair of Steve Madden "Steven" pumps, but i forgot the name of them. They are beautiful! They are black patent, with 2 straps that go over the foot. They were $50.00. I should have just bought them. Maybe i can take back the Nine West pumps and get those. I am thinking about it. Can't really swing both pair right now. Still gotta X-Mas shop!

  15. As i said in another thread, i am going to buy the BCBGirls "Palette" bootie, which are $110.00(US) at Macy's. Also, the Report Signature "Bijou" pump is listed at $180.00, so those will be the most expensive pair i've ever bought, when i buy them, which will be in a month or so. They are black patent, with a gold insole. BEAUTIFUL pump! Here's a pic..

  16. This is a nuclear hot bootie by BCBGirls. It's called "Palette". Look at the shine on those babies! $110.00 at Macy's. I'll get some of those in the next month or so. Also, there is the "Bijou" pump by Report Signature. Those are TOO hot, with the lacing on the vamp. One more pump i wanna get is the "Perla" pump by Marc Fisher. It reminds me of the "Bellini" pump by Jessica Simpson, with the sweet looking buckle on the vamp.

  17. So we all are members of this site to talk about our love for high heels. We all have multiple pairs of heels, whether it be pumps, sandles, wedges, etc. But do we know when to say when, as far as buying more pairs? Is there anyone on this website, male or female, that has an almost uncontrollable hang-up with buying more shoes? I know women LOVE shoes. That's a given. You've heard that for eons. Women love shopping, and when they are shopping, they are most likely buying more and more shoes. Do they know when to say when? Us guys don't buy shoes as often as women, but still, we buy them, sometimes expensive ones. Do we know when to say when? I have had a few moments in the past where emotion took over, as opposed to logic. My emotions said, "ooooh! Fuchsia, what a hot color! What a stiletto pump that is! I am getting these! I just GOTTA have them!" Without using the opposite of emotion, which is logic. Sometimes, when we are obsessed with shoes, we are not caring about the price of them (especially if they are a famous maker brand, at Macy's, Dillards, etc. that cost almost $100). We go crazy, and we don't realize when buying those shoes that we are foregoing a credit card payment, or a phone bill, or an electric bill, new diapers for the baby, etc. Sometimes, logic kicks in, and we realize that a important bill needs to be taken care of, and then the next time we go into that dept. store, money can be spent on pleasurable things like shoes. Just curious if there are members of this board who do have a shoe buying obsession, and if they have taken steps to control it. When is the time to say when? How many pairs of shoes is enough to satisfy us?
