  1. I subscribe to something called Zappos shoe digest, an email type of thing that talks about all things shoes. Well, they have something on there called 'the shoe detective', which helps you track down those hard-to-find shoes. I sent them an email with an attachment of the red patent Guess pumps with the white stripe on the vamp, and hopefully they will find them somewhere out there for sale! Wish them luck!

  2. I have found quite a site that sells quite a large quantity of women's shoes. They sell the popular ones, like Nine West, Anne Klein, BCBG, Steve Madden, etc. The real kicker of the place is this. Overnight shipping is FREE on some shoe brands/styles. It's a website affiliated with Amazon.com and it is called

    www.endless.com

i don't know why they call it that, but it's in it's beta stage, and they have some pretty damn good prices, too!

    check it out!!

  3. For those who are a fan of Ellie shoes, the adult site www.shopgiggles.com has free shipping on orders over $25.00. They have the classic Ellie pumps (style #8220) for $19.99, but if you buy two, you pay about $40, and that's all you will pay. No shipping/handling fees added on! Of course, if you live in New York, you'll have to pay sales tax, but there's no getting around that anyway. Friday i am going to order a few pair of those 8220's. I wish they had more colors. All they list is about 8 of them. Perhaps it would be a good idea to call them. They have other styles of Ellie, which are a little bit more expensive. I think that what they are charging for the 8220's is what other stores are charging. I've seen them online other places, most notably Pierre Silber, and they are the same price, $19.99.

Just a little tidbit of info for whoever is interested.

I don't know about FREAKING, but I sure would love to have a pair. I wrote to Guess to ask if they still make it. They wrote to say "Unfortunately we no longer have that shoe available that is the old style Carrie. You can try Zappos.com." Zappos doesn't have it on their website, and they don't have access to inventory information in their outlet stores. In other words, I'm just plain SOL. I couldn't even find them listed on fleaBay. You are one lucky guy (well, soon as you manage to pry them off of your wife's feet, that is). Thanks for another photo to add to my "The Ones that Got Away (and that's no fish story!)" gallery. Sigh...

These are the new Carrie, listed at Zappos as "Carrie 2." In my opinion, they are nowhere near as flattering or attractive as the previous style.
so i take it that Guess made more than one version of the "Carrie" pump? I know Macy's has them. It's on their website. They do look a lot different than the beautiful red ones in the photos.
  5. If you live near a big city, check the ladies consignment stores. They're just buy/sell stores of ladies clothes, shoes, purses, etc. They COULD have some there. I am going to go into a local store here in vegas and check out what they have, as i haven't been in there in ages. The last time i was in there, there was a hot pair of black leather pumps, almost brand new, but the price was a bit steep, or so i thought at the time. Looking back in hindsight, and how many pairs of pumps i've bought from ebay, and paid ridiculous shipping&handling rates, i would have loved to buy those pumps. I think the brand name was "Diva", but i never heard of them before. Anyway, i think a trip to that consignment store is in order. I wanna find some BCBGirls pumps.

  6. So what about shoes that are feminine looking? Since us guys on here are into pumps and other women's shoes, does wearing a shoe that looks overly feminine go against the grain at all? Are there any guys here that want some masculinity in the style of their heels, or does it even matter? I am heterosexual, but I do love wearing an overly feminine looking shoe, like a pink one, or a purple one, or one with a bow on the vamp, or one with hearts, etc... Us guys know that it's a WOMAN'S shoe that we're into. We know it's not too masculine to wear them from the get go, but does the style, or the color, or anything about a shoe trigger a masculine or feminine feeling when wearing them? Does that make sense? I am just wondering what everyone here thinks, that's all..

  7. An update on the Zappos shoe outlet here in Vegas. It's not open YET. It says "Zappos Shoe Outlet - coming soon" in front of the place. There is another Zappos store that IS open, in Green Valley, which is like 15 to 20 miles south of where i live (Downtown LV). I will be visiting that store this evening. I don't know what i'll find. I inquired about 2 different pump styles last weekend, and they didn't carry either. The girl on the phone said that I won't see much of what's on the website. But i won't leave that store without buying SOMETHING! I am wondering if they have the BCBGirls "Populi" pumps that i mentioned on here the other day. I don't even know how big the store is. I just hope it's got a good selection, as the girl on the phone gave me a 20% discount when i inquired about Gabriella Rocha pumps. Gabriella Rocha shoes are an exclusive brand that only Zappos carries, and they are very very sweet looking shoes. There are TONS of styles! I am hoping i can find something to put on my peds later on tonight.

  8. Do you like my last purchase of this 5 1/2 Patent Pumps.... As soon as I received them (bought yesterday) I'll post some pictures of my legs....

I'm waiting for your definitive opinions... :-)

    Cheers

those pumps are to die for! Here's a pic of the pumps i am going to buy in about a week. They're the BCBGirls "Populi" pump. I fell in love with them when i first saw them on the Zappos website.

  9. I am in LOVE with the Gabriella Rocha "Faire" pump! There are a few other pumps by this maker that are really sweet, too that i want. I am going to go to Zappos.com and order a pair of the "Faire" pump this coming friday. I have Jessica Simpson's "Niva" pump, and it feels very nice on the peds! Also, the Two Lips pumps known as "Sasha" are very nice! I just found out about Naughty Monkey pumps the other day, and they look really good! I am gonna inquire about them. A very comfortable pump that i wear is Nine West's "Freda" pump. VERY nice and comfortable!

  10. Well, Friday i went into Macy's, and was looking for a nice pair of pumps. I found some! The Nine West "Lucero" pump, in beautiful black leather. I took my Macy's card out of my wallet, and presented it to the cashier to pay for the pumps. He said there was no credit left on the card. I know it wasn't true, and that there was some error. I called Macy's later on, and i found out that i had plenty of credit on the card to pay for the pumps. I was going to go back to the store and prove to them that there was some sort of error, BUT i discovered the SAME Nine West "Lucero" pumps on the Nine West website, BUT they were $39.95, instead of $79.99 at Macy's. SO i ordered them online with my VISA card, and saved $40.00!!!!!! I could have probably gone to the local Nine West store here in Vegas and found them there, but oh well, i ordered them, and that's what matters. They'll be arriving at my house in 7 to 10 days, and i can't wait to try them on!! In the meantime, i am going to go to Macy's, and probably get the Chinese Laundry "Doreen" pump that i talked about in this discussion.

  11. The Milan series looks good. Pointy toe and a quite thin heel. I have two pairs of them, black and red leather, and they fit me great.

But one word of warning; they state they are 4,5" but in size 14 they are 5,25". I don't know about smaller sizes.

    Happy heeling!

BTW, it is the Milan in black leather in my avatar.

I LIKE those shoes! Perhaps a little mail order business with Pierre Silber is on my agenda for next friday!! Until then, a trip to the local thrift stores is in order, as i haven't been used-shoe shopping in a while. I need more white leather pumps. I only have 1 pair, the pair i found in the desert near my house. Of course, black patent is always something i am searching for at the thrift stores.

very nice pics! Have you ever watched soap operas on ABC, CBS, NBC? I think the actresses on those soaps have some of the best pumps! Most of the time on a soap, a woman is rich, and has enough pairs of pumps in her closet to make imelda marcos jealous. I have yet to really see the camera zoom in on a character's pumps, but sometimes you can see them. It's beautiful.

Also, TV News women have great pumps on their feet. Sometimes on shows like Extra, or ET, you can see the female hosts wearing some hot stilettos!

  13. Hi,

A while back someone (sorry, forgot who!) was posting pictures they'd taken in public with a tiny, hidden camera, along with a few short videos. Are they available anywhere now, like collected on a site? Thanks!

    Tim

I am in the market for one of those spy cameras. They have some in baseball caps that are wireless, and the footage (no pun intended!) is picked up by a tiny wireless video recorder. The setup together runs about $650.00 but it would be very fun! I was in a store here in Las Vegas saturday night, and there was a VERY SMOULDERING hot blonde chick with some insanely beautiful black leather pumps on. They may have been the Nine West "Freda" pump, or another comparable pump, because they were really high and she didn't look too comfortable with each step. She may have been just staring out wearing such a high heeled pump. I wish i would have had a hat-cam at the time. I would be following her all around the store, taking picture after picture. Yes, in a month or so, i'll be purchasing a hat-cam/recorder setup, and i will gladly post a billion pics of women in their pumps to this site. I am into sneaky stuff like that. LOL
  14. Zappos.com opened a store here in vegas. It's the factory outlet store, but it's also for returns. That means that a lot of the shoe returns from their website are going to the store! WOO HOO! That means some great deals on pumps! I know where i'm going this friday! awesome!! I think there is another Zappos factory outlet store in Kentucky.

  15. No way it can be. Are we to believe this girl is going to sit there reading a magazine while somebody hovers around her filming her shoes? The way she was flipping pages in that magazine she wasn't all that engrossed in it.

Nigel does have a good point -- it is related to the misgivings some of us have expressed regarding street-shots.

That was obviously staged video. No one can deny that. It's kinda hard to bring a camera phone, or other video gadget into a doctor's office/hospital waiting room and stand near a woman, filming her. She would probably make it difficult for the "footage" (no pun intended) to be recorded. That's not to say it isn't IMPOSSIBLE, if you get one of those wireless hat-cam and recorder setups. It's very stealthy. (is that a word?) You'll be able to non-chalontly stand in a room and focus on a girl's shoes, without her even noticing. I'm not sure if you can zoom in and out with the setup, but you can still have fun with it.

I think a woman who dresses in such beautiful shoes does so in order to get noticed. No woman is going to say, "damn! I wanna wear these CUUUTE shoes, but i don't want guys to gawk at me, fantasize about me, or whatever." Shoes like that are exotic, and the only reason why a girl would wear them out is to be gawked at and fantasized about. Plus, she's in the hospital/doctor's office! Why is she dressing like she's at a formal dinner party or a fashion show?

  16. very nice heels!! If they made them non-peep toe version, then i'd buy a pair myself.
  17. Well that goes without saying. There is tons of shopping to do on the net. The retail stores don't cut it, because most of the time, they don't have my size, or the style i want, especially if it's a popular shoe. So i have to go on the net. This particular time, i chose to go local to buy those Nina pumps, but most of the time, i am either doing eBay or some other net shopping.
