  1. You didn't indicate what size those are. Just wondering what size you've been able to find in second hand shops. As I need an 11 or 12, there are very, and I mean very, few shoes available for me in the second hand shops. I'd be drooling if I could find a pair like those! They are sweet! Love the buckle and the feminine cut of the shoe. Bandolino has many styles that I enjoy.

hi. They are size 8.5(US) and at some thrift stores, you will see lots of shoes that are size 11 and 12. Since you live in the U.S., go to the Salvation Army thrift stores, Goodwill stores, and other thrift stores in your city. You might luck out and find some incredibly cute shoes like these. Since this weekend is part of the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S., and Friday is the kickoff of the Christmas shopping season, you may see a lot of thrift stores having big time sales, especially now, since times are tough across the country, as far as the economy goes. I'll sure be at the thrift stores this weekend, trying to find some more cute pumps like these Bandolinos.
  2. I don't think i will spend very much for pumps. I am eyeing a couple of pair that are in the $100.00(US) range, which i've never paid for a pair of pumps before.

One pump is called "Bijou" and it's made by Report Signature. They were going for about $140.00(US), and i recently found them for $80.00(US). Here is a pic. I love the laces on the vamp!

The other pump is called "Rachel" by Miss Sixty. Here's a pic of those, too. The color is what strikes me. Very nice violet!

  3. Very stylish! I like the look o fthose pumps! Two thumbs up!

I like them a lot, too! I've been wearing them almost exclusively the past few weeks. I just think they look totally feminine and sexy. Someone is always giving up beautiful pumps to a second-hand store. It makes you wonder if they belonged to a deceased woman, or maybe they belonged to a woman who has absolutely no taste, or maybe they hit hard times financially and had to move out of their house, and just had to get rid of everything they own. I have found some incredibly beautiful pumps, in like-new condition, for a song at some thrift shops here in Las Vegas over the years. I imagine that's the way it goes in any city. It just makes you wonder. I would never give up these babies! They are so comfortable! At first, they were a bit tight, but as i wore them in, they feel great! I feel like i'm walking on a cloud.
  4. It's been a while since i've posted to hhplace. Anyway, i bought some second-hand pumps recently that i like. They are made by Bandolino, and are blue and white. I like them a lot! They have a cute design to them. Check out the pics! Sorry about the pics being low quality.

  5. For those of us in the US, there is a product on the market called the Ped Egg. It's a file, to scrape the dead skin off the feet. Walmart sells them, and i was wondering how good they work. Perhaps those of us who are in our mid-30's and older may have problems with shoes fitting well because of some dead skin build-up, and a Ped Egg device might be just what the doctor ordered? I know that my feet need some definite pampering, and will buy a Ped Egg this weekend, to see how it may improve things. I have noticed after buying a new pair of shoes that it's harder to put the left shoe on, compared to the right shoe.

Anyway, those of you in the U.K. and other countries may have a similiar device. Here is the official Ped Egg website.

  6. Do they believe in fetishes in the Philippines? That's what guys wearing women's shoes is - a fetish. It's not a homosexual thing. Women like to wear boxer shorts, sometimes. Does that make them gay? Men wear earrings. When did that stop making them look gay, and start making them look cool?l?

  7. So my newest pair of boots arrived yesterday and i managed to try them on, see the piccies below. they are high but i think are a pretty sexy boot. what do you think?

oh they are very sexy looking boots! I love patent leather boots! They stand out so much!

  8. those are adorable! I'm a sucker for a cute pair of mary-janes.

Thanks! I am also a sucker for Mary Jane pumpsi! I am trying to find more shoes in this style.

I am also trying to find some Paris Hilton pumps called "Crush", which is a basic almond-toe style pump. For some reason, they look really hot to me. I am going to get them in pink patent, red patent, and black patent, for now. A friend said they saw them at Marshalls, so i am going to see if i can find a pair there. Of course they will be really cheap at Marshalls ($50 or less) so that's a great buy.

  9. Because all of the rich and famous want to be even more rich and famous. THAT'S why she's got her own line of shoes now. I'm mainly a pump guy, but i like sandals, too. Not really into wedges, but the ones you posted a pic of look interesting. Her logo is kinda generic and stupid.

  10. Yeah, i believe so that, like Jessica and JLo, she's just trying to get rich quicker. As someone said in a post on this subject, Paris was quoted as saying that she designed her shoes. Some look really nice, IMHO, like the previously mentioned pumps.

  11. I'm not talking about celebrities wearing shoes. I am talking about the shoes they put their name on. Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton are the only ones i know of right now. Both have some impressive shoes out there! I fell in love with Paris Hilton years ago, and fell in love with her new pumps just last week. Her style is called "Crush", and they are a basic pump, but with a pink heart in the front of the toebox. I love her pink leather ones! HOT, with a capital thermometer!!

  12. I have a thing for women. What heterosexual male doesn't? Of course, it can also be said that i have a thing for women's shoes. I love buying women's shoes, that women have owned, and 9 times out of 10, worn. I THINK that women have worn them. Perhaps someone just like us on this website donates their shoes to thrift stores and ebay, and perhaps, i am buying shoes that a man has owned and worn. What are the odds of that? The sellers of pumps i've bought from ebay have had female sounding names, but perhaps they were the wives of the men who have owned them. An interesting thought, wouldn't you all say? Nevertheless, i am a women's shoe nut. I always will be, and always will buy second-hand women's shoes, not knowing who has worn them.

  13. you got that right!!! I don't have any 5" heeled pumps, but have some that are 4", and most of them are 3.5" to 4". I am going to buy some pumps with 5" heels soon. I had some at one time, but they were wearing out (i bought 'em used off ebay.) you know it's crazy when you've worn more women's shoes than any female relative of yours, and you are male. LOL

  14. i can definitely relate!! I KNOW i have more pairs of pumps than either of my two sisters. I probably have more pairs of pumps than any other female cousin, aunt, niece, etc. I cannot stop buying more, though. Every week, i see MORE that i want in stores, and on websites. One day, maybe i'll put former Philippines First Lady Imelda Marcos to shame. For those that don't know, she once had over 1000 pairs of shoes.
