  1. how hard is it to stretch patent leather pumps? I have a pair that needs stretching 1/2 inch. I had my feet in them before, but it took a lot of prying and pushing and stomping to get them to where they felt ok to wear. Do shoe stretchers work good, or would it just be best to take them to a shoe repair shop and have them stretch them 1/2 inch? thanx..

  2. What better way to get some pics of some HOT pumps than to get out your trusty camera phone, and SNAP! pics of women wearing them? Last month, i was at the local phone company. They had some lady there, and while she didn't look all that good, she had one some VERY nice black patent leather pumps. They looked GREAT! I don't know what brand, but if i were to have my camera phone on me at the time, i would have snapped some pics of them. That does bring up a good discussion, i bet. How do you snap pics of women in shoes, without her flipping out? What is the etiquette on taking shoe pics? It's hard to get a good pic unless you're right near her, and what are you going to say, "excuse me? i don't know you, but i LOVE your shoes. Can i take some pics of them with my camera phone?" Is she going to say "No"? Is she going to be embarassed? it would be a difficult situation, no doubt.

  3. People in the U.S. see this all the time. The morning shows, GMA, Today, CBS This Morning. The female host, with her her beautiful pumps showing. Meredith Vieira always showed off her pumps when she was host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", and she's doing the same on "Today". Kelly Ripa does that on Regis and Kelly. Other talk shows with female hosts show their pumps. Sally Jesse Raphael, back in the late 80's/early 90's, showed off her pumps a lot. She wore Via Spiga, as it said it in the credits at the end of the show. Not only talk shows or morning shows, but of course, just your regular tv sitcoms and dramas get in on the shoe thing, too. I never watched the tv show "Sex and the City", but i understand that shoes were a big time thing on that show. It's not surprising, since it was mainly about women. I would assume "Desperate Housewives" has plenty of shoe-licious eye-candy.

  4. So what's a great pump in Macy's/Dillards/Bloomingdales/Nordstrom/etc... There are just SOO many good ones on their web pages. I am a pump loyalist. I don't stray away from them. There is no other high-heel i'm interested in. A sling-back comes CLOSE, but still, it's not a pump. anyone have a favorite pair they've bought recently at one of the above stores?

  5. hi all! I'm new to the board. Since i was 19, i loved heels. Don't know how or why i developed such a fetish for them. Bought my first pair of '86. They were white, very generic brand, of about 3 1/2 inch heel. Then, from then on, kept buying tons of them. Also bought some from some lady in a want ad from a magazine called "Leg Show." Don't know if it's still around, but it was a great one for high-heel fetishists. I bought like 10 pair from her. I just loved the idea of possessing pumps that a woman had already wore. Over the years, i've probably bought 100 pair, through different avenues. Thrift store pumps are the best, as you get a great pair of high quality name brand pumps, for a song. Anyway, myself, as a man, have worn pumps before. I don't dress up in women's clothes, though. I am not a TV. I just love wearing women's shoes. The highest heel pump i've worn is a 6" pumps made by Ellie. I could NOT walk in them without almost falling face-first. They felt great on my feet, though. It was bitter-sweet owning them, since they were brand new, and not pumps that a woman has owned and worn before. I've bought plenty of 5" pumps, but most i have had are about 3". The most comfortable pump i've bought was the Jessica Simpson "Niva" pump. BEAUTIFUL shoe, made by a BEAUTIFUL woman, i must say. They're probably my favorite pair. The Nina "Bonnie" pump is beautiful, too. There are just sooo many pumps that i am a fan of. My next purchase is going to be the Nine West "Freda" pump, as it looks very nice! Anyway, hope to chat with everyone on here! see ya!
