One I took while waiting for a train to board.

JNR. You're replying to a thread last used in February 2003. It seems that whenever somebody votes on a poll, the thread revives itself as if somebody has replied to it.

Depends really on what material your looking for. The one in the photograph was hand made out of 1mm thick industrial rubber. There's no give in it at all. Libidex.co.uk in London appear to do a nice PVC skirt for €102 Ultravixon.co.uk sell for about €50 Honour.co.uk make a rubber version for about €85 Funnily, there are very few hobble skirts made in "ordinary" materials on the market. The best thing to do is type "hobble skirt" into google and see what pops up in the Netherlands.

Found another one which has come out very well.

"Looks like only 140ish views accoording to the counter hun" I was referring to the number of views on the Flickr site where they are stored. Agreed it's only 140 have viewed this thread.

Thanks to all who have said you enjoyed them. I've a few more less heel orientated ones to post, more up Fogane's street
Amazing that in under 24 hours, there have been 6700 views. An incredible number. Maybe I should start selling advertising.

I thought I would share a few photos that I took earlier this year, but have only recently got around to sorting out. I've put them in this section since they centre not only on heels but also corsets, hobble skirts and every other fetish. There are about thirty in my flickr album together with all my recent street shots so enjoy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/93425102@N00/

Such a pity that the lighting was so bad that you couldn't see that she was wearing ballet boots. She has said that a repeat perfromance is possible early next month with better lighting. Still a staggering achievement though.

Many years ago, when the internet was still a pretty nifty idea which not many people had, I posted a photo which I had taken of me wearing ballet boots on top of a small step-ladder. You've probably seen it many times on the net since. At the time, I think I was the first person ever to have posted a photo of someone standing in a pair of ballet boots anywhere other then at floor level. This was one of them.
I didn't think that there would be too many who would try to match that feat, but now, someone has not only matched it, but taken wearing them while in unusual situations to a whole new level. I take my hat off to her. By the way, the photographer was standing to take them which gives you an idea of how high she was.
Hopefully, one day very soon, she will be kind enough to post the video on youtube for all to see.

is it possible to get a link to see the balletboots walk for evereybody?
I'm reluctant to post links to the video that those screen shots came from, since it is a members site. However, Pata has posted a couple of videos of her in ballets on her preview section.

Additionally, she has frequently posted video segments to YouTube. Although they are frquently being removed for some unknown reason her home page is YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

I have to admit as well that this is probably one of the best photographs that I have come across in a long while. Nothing flashy, just a simple pair of black jeans and a tee-shirt. Who was it said that a pair of shoes makes an outfit. Here's the proof.

..... not a fan of ballet-heels at-all, sorry.....
Ballets aren't for everybody, I know. Would these be more to your taste.

I've been a member of her site for several months. I don't normally entertain pay sites nowadays. Most high heeled sites, feature models claiming to love heels, but in reality, can hardly stand in them let alone walk. Pata's site on the other hand, is the only site I know of, which offers a chance to enjoy someone who genuinely enjoys wearing heels, enjoys the challenge of it, and demonstrates some extraordinary skills. The video she posted a couple of weeks ago, of her performing a five minute dance "pole dance" routine in a car park, wearing ballet boots is something to behold.

Imagine your out at your local retail park and you came across someone dressed like this:
Would you be more likely to react like this?
Or like this?
Interestingly, it's clear from the video that Pata has posted on her site, that most failed to notice that she was wearing ballet boots at all. Or was it they didn't want to notice. Either way, it's another great video a very accomplished wearer of ultra high heels and ballet boots. I for one would love to witness this first hand.

Not my term, but Pata's from Light-fetish.de, who appears to be winning the battle to remove the fetish aspect of wearing ballet boots.
Yet another great video up on her website this week, of her doing her shopping in white knee high ballets, apparently without anybody else paying any attention to her at all. All together there are now 16 videos of her in ballets (all of them involving walking content and most taken in public locations, unlike many other sites), as well as many others of her in 5"+ heels. Although it's a pay-site, it has a lot more to offer than most.

I agree that anything above 5 inches, Celina does have a great deal of trouble walking in a graceful manner. That's why many of the videos on her site are simply posing in the sitting position, with any walking being close to walls for support. I was a member of her site for quite a while but eventually got tired of seeing the same thing over and over again.
If you want to see some real ability in heels, by a member of this board who can wear both 6" and ballet boots just as you or I would wear a 3" heel I would recommend a months membership to light-fetish.com.
Here's a couple of stills from her videos (I hope that Pata doesn't mind)

A couple of very nice sighting this afternoon while out for a stroll. Both of them 4" heels. The peep-toe courts are from Dune.
Many more available on Firefox's Flickr group.

There you are
I've put a few more photos that I took here, in the high heeled sighting section. I can't post too many as I'd be breaking the board's guidelines with many of them.

No complaints about either the quality of the photos or the subject matter Spikeflyer. Some great photographs. Looks like they seen a fair bit of wear as well, judging by the soles of them, in which case, all credit to the wife as well.
Curious about the difference

Having had a pair of Rancho's myself, I found them very hard on the ankles, because there is no support underneath them. They were also extremely heavy, even without the hoof inserts. The Femme at least has what can be recognised as a heel directly under the back of the foot, preventing the foot from rocking back and shifting your balance backwards. That's not so with the Rancho, where you are forced to keep your centre of gravity slightly forward to prevent you from falling backwards.
