Well I bought a couple of pairs of jeans 2 inches shorter (25mm for you metric types) than normal so that when I wear heels they can be seen, I think jeans and heeled boots look great.

Sorry, but two inches is more like 50 mm actually 50.8!

Spikes, The only problem I have with your approach is the line. "..these heels are higher than the heels I bought my wife/gf..." So a man who doesn't wear heels at all is going to walk well in a pair of heels that are taller than than the heels his wife wears regularly. I guess what I'm saying is that it may make the wearer feel better, but is probably not fooling anyone.

Great find!! Interesting how he said before putting the shoes on that he can walk very well in heels. And he did!!

I'm with spikes and trevor, I am not a platform fan, I just don't get why 95% of exotic dancers feel it is a requirement to wear them. I usually find the 5% that wear the very high heels with mini or no platform to be much more sexy IMO.

One possible reason is a six inch heel with a two inch platform feels kinda like a four inch heel. Makes a difference when you're going to be on your feet for a while.

So I am not the only one who believes that Digital is a Close Approximation of the real thing.

It seems that a point and shoot digital (maybe an SLR also) takes better low light pictures that film.

Cameras seem like local politics (in the united states at least). Tow major players and a bunch of smaller competitors. I'm in the market for a d-slr and have narrowed it down to the Canon XSI. Different cameras if the price range were markedly different.
