  1. One other point that really irritates my wife is how much i have spent over the years on my hobby, and yes my collection is rather large! On the plus side i don't smoke, drink little and we are relatively debt free, holiday every year so personally (again selfishly) i don't regard it as a issue but can see her point of view.

You don't smoke and drink little! You might want to mention to your wife that those "socially acceptable' hobbies are not cheap either and are probably more expensive than your "hobby".

  2. My advice is DON'T!! It's nervewracking enough to think about walking outside in high heels for the first time without the additional complications of driving a manual transmission in heels. If you should get into an accident, you (and your footwear) will be to blame. A little while back (six months or so) a female got into an accident while wearing platform heels that caused injury to another person (I think the shoes got caught or something like that). She was brought of charges as a result of driving in unsafe footwear.

  3. Date last night.

Bottom line, this girl does not support men wearing high heels. She didn't mind that I was wearing my women's knee boots over jeans, a women's leather jacket, and she even shared some of her bracelets with me to keep. Even though we stayed out till 6 am and she invited me back to her place, this one is a dud--or maybe I'll see her one more time and just show up in block heels and take it from there.

Let's see, she didn't like guys in heels (you), but hung with you till 6 am and invited you back to her place. Hmmmm! If she did like guys in heels (you again), she might have ripped your clothes off right there..... (just kidding, but an interesting observation nonetheless)

  4. "I am NOT sure about coming to the next "heel meet", as unfortunately there are too many guys who have an "in your face" attitude about themselves, even in their choice of shoes. I am heterosexual and I also have no desire to be around guys who would be "turned on" and perhaps make passes at me (even in their mind) because of the shoes I wear." Frodo220, where did you get this idea from?
