I wonder what the platform "knives" look like!!

When up on the roof there arose such a clatter, St. Nick in heels was what was the matter.
Then what to my wondering eys should appear? St. Nicolas in heels and a sleigh being pulled by lively reindeer.
Come on guys, I know some of you sharp guys can jump on this one.
Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, Hooo, Hooo, Hooo, Hooo
My feet are a hurtin' in these Jimmy Choos
Ms. Clause was right, and by golly she should know
Jimmy Choo pumps are no good in the snow...

Great observation. That's something about this board that many would like to see change, but don't know how. We're still basically a good bunch, even if we're mostly males (ha ha). Welcome again, and we welcome your posts!!!

Awsome adventure!!

Ok i went to Dillards last night. I got the majestic red patent Jessica Simpson "Vanity" pump. I got outta there, and thought about getting the color "Prince", which is purple. Either way, i made out! They kinda remind me of the Guess "Carrie" pump, with kind of a low cut upper on one side of the pump. They feel pretty good, but will feel better when i wear them in.
Luv the heel! Great purchase!!!!

Great finds!!!!!

Johnie,
Yes it was. I was driving home from work only to get the texts...which was strange at 2am.
It may be she's afraid of what her family might think (if they knew)? Maybe I talk about my shoes too much (jealousy??)? I don't know, we're supposed to talk about it today. Just really stinks. Oh well...
I hope things work out for you (and her)!!!

I hope you don't hear mine one day...LOL
HILARIOUS!!!!!!
Good one StilettoScott!!!!!!!!!!

Cause "Spike" was supposed to be the name of the next reindeer, not his footwear!
-
Joe, Don't worry about the pics. Just enjoy your wife's newfound "view" on men in heels!

Sounds like a great plan. Be careful with mules, as they most likely will require a different walking pattern as they have no back and will most likely stretch with wearing. Most here seem to prefer a boot or loafer for initial street heeling. Either wya best of luck and be sure to let us know what happens!

Bubba136, I think we are approaching the end of times--- I agree with you. While I have to admit that I am not (and will not) be provy to all of the offense and issues encountered by the last two announced departures, it somehow strikes me as thin skinned (sorry if I offend, JMHO). Hey, it's a big planet and we all get our toes stepped on- yes, some more than others. But if this isn't to your liking, best of luck to ya on your journey. Peace!!

I think many people on this board have $1000 footwear..... Just spent on many more than one pair!! (smile)

Amanda, All I can say after your deep soul serching email is thanks for sharing, and thanks for being here!!

Glad to hear things are well!

I'll bet they're hopping mad about the cold!

Just look on the sunny side- it's up! But don't someone try to convince you to betray anyone else. Then you'd be "egged on to be Benedict (Arnold)"!!!

OK, I just bought these off Ebay. Let me know what you think. I can not wait to get them... I hope they fit. I tried to find some like it locally, but could not
What size? Saw a pair in size 11. Wanted 12 and a black (no patent).
Good luck with them, they look like a great street heeling shoe!
Congrats!! As the commercial said, you shopped victoriously!!!!

As always, the challenge with data is how to interpret it. Is it a blip in the trend? A shift in how the data is presented? Or a leading indicator? It could be that the "drop" in searches means that high heel shoe heights (and sales) will drop in six, nine or twelve months. Time will tell, but those of us who are a little older remember the 70's and ealry 80's when heels were tall and the subsequent "dip" in the 90's to early Y2K years.

Sounds ok providing you don't hook the spike heel and go tumbling down the inflatable ramp. And even if you survive that, being accosted by the survivors on the ground after the ramp is deflated (by the spike heel) trapping their acquaintances and loved ones! (ha ha). I'd take them off.

Yes you would! Just in time to start again (smile)

It makes me wonder what he really thinks about the majority of ham radio operators.
