HHfanatic Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Would high heel shoes/boots be more interesting to buy if they came with 3 set of heels that easely could be changed out? I`m not thinking about the hight, but the shape of the heels like one set of stiletto heels, one set of blade heels and one set of block heels?
Ruth Heel Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 That is to economical. It would take the fun of of buying heels for every occasion.
highestheels Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Never thought about that angle Ruth! But its true.
bootluvr Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Would sound like Very Cool Idea as it's been done on rare occasion(s) to the Boot SHAFT, converting Height on a pair to either ANKLE, KNEE, or THIGH. 8-D Boots Rock!!!!

I`m not thinking about the hight, but the shape of the heels like one set of stiletto heels, one set of blade heels and one set of block heels? It sounds like some people would be interested in this. Sorry, not for me...I'm too old fashioned. I savour each pair of my high heels.
Bubba136 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I'm with roniheels. It doesn't appeal to me. This idea seems to me to be oriented toward working women that have a desire to "adjust" their heel height to the occasion. Low heels for walking, shopping, commuting, etc. Mid-high heels for the work place and higher heels for evening wear. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
HappyFeat Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Too many moving parts for me... Style is built from the ground up!
onyourtoes Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 A quick search at www.google.com/patents on 'high heels' or 'changeable heels' finds dozens of patents on such a product. While most are variable height heels, there are a few variable style heel designs in there, too. And that's doesn't cover those patented elsewhere, or not patented. Over the decades I've seen them featured in various magazines and more recently, on the internet. But I've never seen them for sale, certainly not on Main/High St.
Histiletto Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 It's hard enough keeping track of my high heeled pumps and now you want to tell me I'll have some parts to keep track of. I can see it now. A man with a belt of heels buckled around him like the bullets were on the belt of the old western gun-slingers. Ready! Load and lock 'em, Duke. Or will a bag of extra heels be stashed in a tool case or lunch box. Of course, the white collar gents will have their extra heels valise along with his briefcase and/or computer notebook. How about a soldier in his class A uniform falling into formation with the wrong set of heels or even missed matched? Well, all kidding aside, change is one of the things that can be depended on to be constant, so who knows what will come when men everywhere openly wear high heels.
