The shoes would modify your walk enough to get the attention of a perceptive person. Most would not notice. They are beautiful shoes, by the way. I did it just like you, changing shoes inside my car, at night, going for a drive and leaving the car just for a short walk. My heartbeat was at 120 strokes per minute! With time you will see that you can do it during the day without problems since almost nobody pays attention to what we have in our feet!
