I few years back I started to wear them myselv, but had a hard time finding a nice pair of shoes that fit me. Now I found a pair that are very comfy and looks great. I don't wear them in that much though, because of my hard wood floors at home (the guy downstairs would freak). I've been out in public a few times in them, though. I have laminate floors in my house and you should hear the racket when I'm walking around in heels with metal tips! One pair of my boots has metal toe tips too, and they're *really* noisy. pabbott03301 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Well Dawn, there is not a lot to say. By profession I am a librarian. Presently I'm not working, living off my investments. I am 48 and dealing with tongue cancer at this time. And no, I was never a tobacco user or heavy drinker. I'm one of the 15 percent of people with a mouth cancer who don't fit the usual profile. I was operated on down in New York at Memorial Sloan Kettering on 4 Dec. and am feeling pretty good at this point. So who knows. I like women in heels, but have no interest in wearing them myself.
