Well---I missed making my 5000th post on the 2nd anniversary of my joining and the writing of my first post on December 19, 2003 as I wasn't able to get through to the Forum the last 2 evenings. But, as my Daddy always said, "Close enough for Government work". At least, I made it and now onward and upward towards 6000 posts. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Dawn, Congrats on your 5000+ post. I guess your in first place now as top poster. Where are the ballons, confete and horns???? Just got to 1000 myself. Took me two years. At this rate, I won't hit 5000 for 2 1/2 years. Scotty

Shafted:-) Sscotty727:-) Thanks very much for your confidence in me and your kind comments. Dispite the illnesses and medical problems that Mickey and I had this past year, we were still able to accomplish our goals. Even to regaining my ability to continue street-heeling in public again. TEE! HEE! All of this couldn't have been done without the able assistance of Bubba136. He suddenly stopped posting a few months back which allowed me to make up the vast posting count difference between he and myself. I will try to up-hold the honor of the position of the leader of the pack. A few averages may be in order--- 5000 posts in 2 years. 2500 posts in a year. 208 posts in a month. 52 post in a week. 7 posts in a day. .31 posts in an hour. Remember---I was a music teacher, not a math person. I'm sure that if I am incorrect, the statisticians will straighten me out. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Dawn, Way to go, I am glad you and Mickey are both back on the road to good health. You are certainly someone all of us can look up to and gain strength from, in heeling, marriage, and in overcoming obsticles. I think all of us can look at life's little blips and say "Hey, if Dawn can do it, so can I". Great job and we look forward to your next 5000 posts! Scotty

Without rivalling Bubba or Dawn (congratulations both!), I've just passed my 1500 milestone with my Christmas greeting to everyone, which I duplicate here: To the entire membership: Tidings of the season from me (Heelfan), and from my daughter Melanie at Peachy Shoes. Bristol. Mel is shutting up shop between 24 December and 2nd January and joining my wife and I for a merry and restful Christmas in our Wiltshire house. I do hope everyone else has a happy and restful time, and happy heeling! Cheers, Heelfan

Onwards and upwards!
