Guest ilovepumps! Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Nice, but those heels are so thin and high. I would be about 6'6/6'7 in those lol.
jmc Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Congratulations! Those boots are amazing. Have a happy time!
Stilettoguy Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 You lucky guy!! They look marvelous! And my size too.....
Dr. Shoe Posted November 26, 2006 Author Posted November 26, 2006 Yeah the only ones I've seen like that before were going for $1500! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

Dr. Shoe Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 I paid by paypal so it's all secure... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
2heel Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I'd be a little concerned. Those pictures have been pinched from another eBay seller named primafila-shop (Reputable seller) and they are pics of Gianmarco Lorenzi boots which should sell for no less than $1900US. Usually as high as $3000US. Please let us know how you make out. They are stunning for sure and if your auction is for real, you can bet I'll own a pair myself. Oh, this is an old auction link, but it's the same boot and the same pics. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280035829702 Good luck!
DanG Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I paid by paypal so it's all secure... Not always. Fail to meet one of the many conditions for buyer protection and you'll be out of luck. You could file a dispute if you didn't get the boots but if the person you paid already withdrew the money (which they would if it's fraud) paypal won't refund you out of their pocket.
dr1819 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Terrific! I hope you have long legs, as they look mighty tall!
johnieheel Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 congrats on the win... however, i'd be concerned about the 89.5% Positive Feedback. 89.5 is positive? real men wear heels
Dr. Shoe Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 Apparently they're being made to measure! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Fogane Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Your seller is "no longer a registered user of eBay". Doesn't look good to me.
Dr. Shoe Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 Your seller is "no longer a registered user of eBay". Doesn't look good to me. Tell me about it! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
2heel Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Sorry to hear that. Given the poached pics, the suspect listing, and now the made to measure line, I think you're out some $$$. At least it wasn't the $1000 to $3000 the real version goes for. Let us know if you have any luck sorting this out.
balletbooter Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 get on to ebay and paypal straight away. You;ve got 30 days to claim. the exact same thing happened to me with a pair of ballet boots and they only recovered half the cash but i still havent seen it
Dr. Shoe Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 It's already done. it seems that some other buyers have got theirs but... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Secreto Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I hope you haven't been had...but: But he's emptied out the paypal account and now you can't have your money back? I was swindled for about £40 last year in exactly the same scam. Also swindled by paypal from a buyer, you send the item. they claim I never sent them - proof of posting isn't sufficient for paypal (it's in the small print) you need full tracking - so the buyer got the boots and her money back. When woman get taller, their shoes will fit me better.
Dr. Shoe Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 I hope you left negative feedback. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
chris100575 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Also swindled by paypal from a buyer, you send the item. they claim I never sent them - proof of posting isn't sufficient for paypal (it's in the small print) you need full tracking - so the buyer got the boots and her money back. Whenever I sell anything on eBay I send it recorded delivery. It's well worth the extra 65p or whatever it costs. Dr Shoe: Will you keep us posted as to what happens? Chris
