2heel Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Hey All, I've been a lurker for some time, but finally got to post some pics at photobucket. I have been wearing heels for more than 25 years, but, never outside the home. My wife knows of my interests and has not discouraged me, but she also wants nothing to do with it. She's the love of my life and if this is the only facet that she does not share, then that's OK. I have a particular passion for boots and for high fashion. I have many more boots that I have yet to take pics of. But will try to do so soon. Enjoy the pics and thanks for a great web site! http://photobucket.com/albums/e219/2heel/Boots/ Password is "2heel", then click on the "Boots" album link.
ShockQueen Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I rather like all those boots - especially the LSB boots! SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
Zero Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 *drools* I like the height of them and black with red is too good for showing ^^ If all is lost as it may seem, in a cruel endless game, I'd rather live to redeem, than to die in shame!
flavio Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 The black knee highs are nice but the thigh highs are outstanding!!! Congratulations, nice boots in my opinion. Flavio - Brazilian heel lover, now in France.
Thighbootguy Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 2heel- Welcome to the forum! The pictures are great and I like both styles of boots. I haven't tried lace up thigh boots yet so would you share some information of how they are to wear? They look like they don't have a side zipper so are they worth all the effort to lace them up? After 25 years, you should try going out. It really is a hoot. Again welcome and I look forward to reading your posts. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
2heel Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 Thanks all for the welcome. I have several pairs of additional thigh boots including Casedei, Donald Pliner, Dolce and Gabana, and two other pairs of LSB's. I also have a few pairs of knee high boots including Steve Madden, Gianmarco Lorenzi, Mia, and more. As for pumps, I do have a couple of pairs, but I rather prefer boots and the pumps do not see much use. Going out in public is not really something I consider realistic. No way can I go out where I live as I know too many people and heading to another city to street heel by myself feels too weird. I never seem to be satisfied with my collection though. I always want that next pair. Especially the expensive stuff. I don’t really like the shapes of most cheaper shoes. I find sculpted shapes more appealing. I know why women have so many pairs. How can you stop? I'll try to find the time to take some proper pics of the rest of the collection soon. Cheers!
2heel Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 Well, I just couldn’t wait. So I took a slew of new pics today and just posted them at PhotoBucket. They're in the same album http://photobucket.com/albums/e219/2heel/Boots/ Just enter the password "2heel" and select the "Boots" album. Thighbootguy, Sorry, I missed your question about lace-ups. As far as I’m concerned, the lace-up is worth the work and a zipper just seems wrong to me on a boot with full laces. Isn’t the anticipation part of the fun? Here's a teaser
terayon Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Although none of them are particularly my style, I will certainly say they are quite nice. The Casadei stretch ones are probably my favorite out of the bunch....I'd LOVE them if they had a chunkier or wedge heel....but thats just me (dont really like stilletto's personally) Welcome to the forum and hopefully we can see pictures of the rest of your collection when you get a chance!
cuarenta18 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Hello 2heels compliments for the beautiful boots!!! I have a question: Do you have worn the boots during the guide of your car? with which boots you have guided? do you have pics ? Bye !
Thighbootguy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 2heels Very nice collection and you model them well. I kind of suspected that putting on a pair of lace up thigh boots was a big part of the fun. My enjoyment of thigh boots, however, comes from wearing them out and about. I think cuarenta18 is asking if you have ever worn your boors while driving. I wear mine driving almost daily as I drive to work and stop at a grocery to pick up some stuff for lunch. I do work about 45 minutes away from home so there isn’t a problem of being seen in my neighborhood wearing my boots. I do walk out to the car wearing them but it is early. I still recommend wearing them out and about even if it’s under the pant legs (which seems like a waste). It really is a lot of fun. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
flavio Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I loved all styles shoed this time 2heel, specially the stretch ones. They are a must have for me! Congratulations! Flavio - Brazilian heel lover, now in France.

Secreto Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 some nice boots there - love the Diba (first) pair which is the gealous emocion? LOL When woman get taller, their shoes will fit me better.
2heel Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 Thighbootguy, Thanks for the compliments. Again, the lace-ups t me are worth it, but I guess if you are heading out and about, they do not lend themselves to a quick change over. But, the LSB's I'm wearing are pretty outrageous and my guess is that most of you who have scared up the courage to street heel, would not attempt it in these. You are braver than I for heading out. Although, if I knew of a location, had a group to head out with, and could be absolutely sure that I would not see anyone I know, I might be up for it. cuarenta18, No, I’ve not worn any of my heels out of the house. No way I can do that where I live and I prefer to keep my interests to myself right now. Other than this board of course. There are a few auctions on eBay for the very same Casadei Stretch boots I have. Check this eBay store. http://stores.ebay.com/ItalyFashionClub They also have the Gianfranco Ferre that I just bought at overstock.com. Very nice indeed. I do have a few pairs of boots that I’ve not taken pics of yet. I’ll try to do that soon. I’m traveling next week, so it won’t be until the following week at the earliest. Cheers!
Dawn HH Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 2Heels:-) Being a boot guy myself leaves me enjoying your boot pics immensely. A great boot collection and great boot pics and you wear them well. I will be looking forward to seeing the rest of your collection. I am also a pump fan. Would you consider taking a few pics of them even though you don't wear them often? Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!

Thanks for the complements. I'm overdue for updating my pics. I have added more boots since those were taken. The burgundy boots are Di Marni. I got very lucky and found them on an eBay auction. They are stunning and probably my favorites. I might be selling the LSB black and red lace ups. Not sure yet. But I've not worn them in some time. I'm sure I'd regret selling them the minute they were gone.
BlkKhb1 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Simply amazing collection! I am drooling over most of them, and envy you!
bootopia Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 You have quite a collection of boots. I especially like the black LSBs and the burgundy Di Marnis. I recently purchased a pair similar to the the LSBs (see the "boots contest thread". The Aldo boots are similar to a pair that I wore out a few years ago - only my pair had lacing on the outer calf and an inside zip, with slightly chunkier heels. Happy heeling!

I've admired the boots in your avatar. Where did you get them? Could be something I might consider wearing outside. Yeah, the black LSB’s are keepers. I have a pair in green too. Just not as tall. The Di Marni's are suffering some stiching issues. I'm depressed about that. Funny location too. Above the heel at the ankle on both the left and the right. The boots are snug, but not tight at all and they’re actually loose at that location. I need to find someone with the skills to repair them. Definitely not the local shoe repair guy.
