Driver8 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 I think these are awesome! Click on the picture to go to the page.
dr1819 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 I think they're kind of cute. I like moccasins, and the heel is nice, too. Too bad the size stops at 11 US Women...
jim Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Thats a nice shoe..do you plan on getting them? jim
Driver8 Posted August 21, 2005 Author Posted August 21, 2005 I'm tempted, but I'm not comfortable buying shoes without trying them on first.
asdf174 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Those are nice. Not really my style though. I say go for it! It's all good. ~Arron.
Danielinheels Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 that's a nice style - if i knew i could get em in my size, i would. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
Dawn HH Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I agree with Trolldeg. They don't do anything for me either. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
JeffB Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I second that emotion. Yawn! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Shafted Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 This is another one of those shoe designs that doesn't do anything for me by itself. I would really need to see these on some feet before I could determine wether I liked them or not. Shafted, the boots that is! Bubba136 Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 That style isn't really to bad. They are really kind of anonymous when you wear them with jeans or dockers (sports wear). And, the 3½" heel is comfortable to wear for long walks. I have two pair similar to those shoes. One pair is black, with white thread accenting and very pointed toes. The other pair is brown, a penny loafer style moc look with rounded toes. My wife bought them for me at different sales and, although I haven't worn them that much, I do "kind of' like them. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Driver8 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 Well, if you dislike those, you'll really hate these which I got nearly 10 years ago:
Trolldeg Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Those are better, because the heel is thicker. Better balance in the design.
Bubba136 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Driver8, if you wear that pair in public, what kind of reaction have you had from people? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Ellen-Jay Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Awful. Ellen-Jay --------------------------------------------------- The shoes aren't sensible, so why is the talk?
Driver8 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 Driver8, if you wear that pair in public, what kind of reaction have you had from people? Not too much of a reaction at all. I've worn those with pants and with a long stretch black skirt. I haven't worn them in years though and I'm not sure how they go with the boot-cut jeans I now favor.
Dawn HH Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Your right! I don't particularly care for them. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
JeffB Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Well, if you dislike those, you'll really hate these which I got nearly 10 years ago: Ten years ago? Good Lord! Those things look like they came right out of the 80's, maybe even the 70's!!! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Bubba136 Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Hey man, you can still find that style on eBay if you pay close attention (have to be looking closely, though. ) I've a pair with the same style of heels that I really haven't worn that much. They're loafer style and have a brass bit accent across the instep. Comfortable but the shape of heel is very obvious -- and, besides, they're only 3" high. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Sally2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 look abit like school mistress shoes. or driving shoes with heels. not my sort of thing. sal
Driver8 Posted September 3, 2005 Author Posted September 3, 2005 What about these? Kenneth Cole, last fall.
Dawn HH Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Driver8:-) Not my style...ugly then...ugly now! Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
