genebujold Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 In times past, I've said good-bye, but returned. I'm now saying good-bye, but won't return. For years I've allowed other things, idols, to get between myself and my Lord, Jesus Christ. The cost has been great, and I no longer want to allow anything to become another idol, whether it's a career, a message board, a hobby, etc. I hope you understand. I bid you peace. Farewell. - Gene'
Bubba136 Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 I, for one, certainly understand your feelings, GB. I also know that unless you're going to totally envelope and immerse yourself into your relgion monk style, you will still have contact with others during the course of normal living. My point is that while you follow your instinct and heart you can still make time for those of us that have come to know you and appreciate your wise council. Don't disappear completely. Stay in touch. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
sscotty727 Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Good luck Gene'. It was a pleasure getting to know you and I wish you all the best. Take care my friend, Scotty
Firefox Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Take care Gene' You've made some interesting contributions to the forum to an extent which most could not match. Still, I hope to see you around on the odd occasion. I don't think a visit here and there would constitute the board being an idol. At least, that is the excuse I would make
Dawn HH Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Genebujold:-) Your contribution to the Forum has been great and very thought presented and I, for one, will miss your pleasant banter. Good luck with whatever path that you finally decide to take in the rest of your life and Mickey and I wish you well on your journey. I don't think that you will be bending any rules if you decide to peek in once in a while to see what all of your friends here are doing. Cheers--- Mickey68 Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Shafted Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 genebujold, Gonna miss your thought provoking posts. Good luck and take care. Shafted, the boots that is! Skirted-UK Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Sorry to see you go Gene, your contributions will be missed, but I don't understand how religion stops you posting on here occasionally. "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave ! " The Eagles, "Hotel California"
shrimper Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 I prayed to the Lord to take this thorm from my side and he replied "My grace is sufficient for you". Today I am at peace with the Lord and with my love for feet and heels. Gene, I hope you can find that place in your walk with the Lord. God bless and we will include you in our prayers.
asdf174 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Good bye. We will miss you. I'm glad that you found a path that you think will get you to where you want to be. It's all good. ~Arron.
shyguy Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Hope you change your mind about leaving for good Gene, there must be a way to follow your religious belief, and visit here sometimes. But whatever you need to do, I hope life works out as you'd wish. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
TXT-1 Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 sorry to "upset the applecart" but someone has to! To quote the aussie hard rock band "The Angels" (known in the US as "Angel City") "Am I ever gonna see you face again - no way get Fucked, Fuck OFF!" I never liked Genebejold and I never will! I think he is a highly opinionated person... as for religious quotes I'll stick to the intro to Iron Maiden's Number Of the Beast "woe to you, oh earth and sea... no I I don't voice my opinion on HHplace much... until now! later, TXT-1
Shafted Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I think he is a highly opinionated person... And your not? TXT-1 Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I am "over" it IE. "HHplace", the honeymoon is over and ever since Genebejold became a memeber here, the female poster population has gone down like a lead balloon I DO NOT voice my opinion much here... and I DON'T intend to! I have better things to do like throwing the Ford RS200 (Group B rally car) into corners in Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, throwing "The Defect" - my march 1977 Datsun 120Y (B210) 4 door sedan onto REAL corners!, growing my Orange Habanero chilli plants into the "BEYOND SERIOUSLY HOT" chillis that they rightfully should be!! HHplace has become boring folks... if someone pisses me off, I let 'em know about it... and if they don't like it there's only one Um... and that's F&^k 'em! later, TXT-1
Shafted Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Sorry you feel that way TXT-1, but the truth of the loss of the ladies is the guys posting in the "For the gals" section. This is a fact that they made quite clear. It's to bad that the damage has been done. Will the board ever recover from it? Who's to say? Shafted, the boots that is! jmc Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 I also miss the ladies. And I'll miss Gene too. But I don't think the tone this thread has taken will do much to reverse either of these losses. Flame me if you want. Have a happy time!
sendra45 Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Well, If he has gone he wont be reading this! and If he follows his path he should be able to understand your feelings and as a Christian, forgive you in time (not that I think you are asking for it). It is not great to loose anybody here on this forum, we seem to be a fairly rare breed. The more the better for me, but whilst we are here for others opinions, lets try to positive about each other and encourage one and all. Nigel The angels have the phonebox.
Bubba136 Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 At least he announced his departure. Most members that leave us just fade away..... Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Dawn HH Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 That's true, Bubba. At least we have some idea of what is happening with Gene. The others leave us all high and dry with a lot of unanswered questions. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Shafted Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I do hope that gene stays in touch, if only occasionally, and I wish him only the best in his endeaver to get closer to God. It's one thing if he wants to dump his heel wearing but I doubt he would want to dump the friends he has made here. I'm hoping that he will at least read what I've written here. I know that for me public street heeling was as much spiritual freedom as it was fashoin freedom. Once one's love of heels is brought out into the open it no longer fetishy but part of what who one is, and it no longer has power over you, but you have power over it. In less than two short weeks I learned this lesson. Shafted, the boots that is! Arctic Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 At least he announced his departure. Most members that leave us just fade away..... Or become passive participants again, like me. Reason is just lack of time... I just pick the raisins from the bread in the few minutes that I can afford spending on this! Doesn't mean that I'm no longer into heels. Far from it! What's all the fuss about?
heelsRus Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 In times past, I've said good-bye, but returned. I'm now saying good-bye, but won't return. Farewell. - Gene' I don't understand why or how someone would (could) give up on the rest of life to focus on one aspect, especially one so abstract, but that's me. I'm glad for Gene that he has that focus and dedication, and sincerely hope he finds whatever it is he's looking for. Actually I hope we all find whatever it is we're looking for. Now if someone will tell me where my sunglasses are, that'd be great :-)

heelsRus Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 All I can say is "Gene, I understand." Is is one of those things where if you need to ask you don't understand, and if you understand, you don't need to ask --- or perhaps there is something else? Either way, sorry to see him go even though we didn't see eye-to-eye on this topic. Always curious....

Mike Hinch Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 This is a bit of a strange one for me. Back in 1969 I came to the Lord and from then and now I have not found anything in the Bible that had anything against high heels. About 1995 or so I started to wear HH out in the world. About 2006 I found that guys could wear skirts in guy mode. And that one verse in Deuteronomy gets quoted out of context but the same churches have lady preachers. There has been some indication that porn has been purged from this group well great. Nice to keep it clean here.
