Well, i am perfectly able to answer this question myself. I don´t like ankle straps for exact that reason, preventing me from easily slipping out or dangling when i want to. But i love ankle straps for the looks!

+1! Heels with ankle straps look fantastic, i like that a lot. But i also like to see a lady dangling her heels .....

I can't argue with that statement. I'm admittedly am a admirer of dangling too. Can't be done with ankle straps, slings, or T-straps which are my favorite heel types. Classic pumps are best for that.
