Seastyle Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I wonder what do you guys think. Me and wife got a weekend get away property. It is kind of remote location where we don’t have a next door neighbor that can see us when we are there. One time i got an idea to buy some comfy high heel shoes that i can enjoy on weekends. I bought Franco Sarto Yvette wedge mules. My wife told me i am the only one to come up with the idea of camping in heels. This way i can enjoy whole weekend running afound in them except for the time we are on the lake. My feet got used to them to the point where it felt weird when i had to swap for flats When weekend was over. 2
Cali Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I have camped with heels, my SM mules. However, I only used them when on the smooth granite during breakfast coffee time and "hors d'œuvre/cocktail hour". I find large gravel and lose dirt too hard to walk in. But that's where my new SM sneakers with a 2.5 inch heel come in. 1
pebblesf Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Yeah, one of these days I'm going to find a pair of those Nikes sky high wedge sneaks, or perhaps the adidas superstar wedges...
Seastyle Posted September 19, 2019 Author Posted September 19, 2019 Actually the surface is sandy and for the most part it is a packed dirt or sand So walking in wedges or block heels is fine. Stilettos would dig in. As a matter of fact i ordered a back up pair of shoes for our weekend trips. They are Elise by Bleecker and Bond. i can’t wait to put my hands on them.
SF Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Looked those shoes up on line. Nice looking sandals. I would wear them out and around, they look comfy. Why spend time walking around in the dirt and ruining your nice heels?? Have fun.... It's nice having a wife that understands, I do and it's wonderful.... sf "Why should girls have all the fun!!"
