Was doing another one of my weekly "women in high heels" Youtube search (because it's not just a thing to wear with my looks), and came across The Doctors' take on heel-less shoes. 'The Doctors' is a show on a lesser-known channel, so take their advice lightly :P Just jossin ya!

Now this is interesting because the only female on the show, out of four, wears high heels almost Every episode that I've seen. Yet, "psychologically" she couldn't hold her own in the shoes, which are mighty nice to the eye, by the way...well, maybe just to mine ;)

Course as with regular heels, they don't recommend constant wearing of them. "Wear them through the special event or party, take them off immediately after" said one doctor. But soon, their advice won't matter to me because I'm gaining two pair of heel-less shoes for myself, so TAKE THAT, DOCTORS! Pictures will come as soon as I get a pair (keep an eye on the gallery!)~

I don't really like heelless shoes. I think the heel itself, especially the stiletto, is one of the nicest and sexiest part of the shoe. It's really what catches my attention, and heelless shoes just look boring and unattractive in my opinion. You might try them for the challenge, but I don't even think any woman really loves wearing them. The celebs just do it because it's a trend.

I could walk on sunshine, but I chose heels instead.

It's not really heel-less, just clever engineering.

I think they look cool. Not sure if I could walk in them, though. But I would love to try.

I would love to have/try a pair. For me the problem would be my left ankle. It does not bend nearly as far as my right. I would think that concentrating on keeping your weight on the balls of your feet would be the key. I have to do that with my left foot with very hi heels on, almost like keeping your foot constantly pointed down.

One thing I just noticed (and I haven't seen the video or this thread since posting) is while she wants to teeter-totter like she's really about to twist an ankle...

Why in the Hel[en] is she attempting the shoes (Jeffrey Campbells) on red carpet???

For a doctor (and as stated, a frequent 'heel-er' on the show), she sure is an amateur when it comes to proper surfaces to walk upon with them on. By the way, I did get my heel-less shoes in a couple of weeks back, and I can honestly say that without a doubt...I could walk in them MUCH better than she displayed, even on uneven/carpeted surfaces. Granted mine are probably the "easier" of the two of our shoes. No less, still very easy to walk in. If anyone requires a video for further proof, I can record a little something when I have time. For now, let the photos I post here & in the gallery suffice!~

I gotta ask, where did you pick yours up? Also, is the official term "heel-less" shoes? It's hard finding these online as retailers seem to have not yet agreed on a term and usually have them categorized under wedges.
