I took a trip to Las Vegas this month. I departed Columbus, Ohio Airport Jan. 18, 2013. Friday. Just after checking in my luggage I put on my 5 1/2'' high heel brown crockadile oxfords. Don't care what security thought. Wore them through the airport, on the plane, all the way to Las Vegas baggage clame. Had to change to ugley shoes due to toteing the weight of my luggage. It has been my interest for years to attend the Adult Entertainment Expo. Well were I am, Saturday morning. Expo. time at the Hard Rock Hotel, Wearing a Brown Leather Skirt, Black Patent 6" Thigh High Stilettos w/ Spurs. I had to stand and wate in line for 45 minutes befor they would open the doors. With no place to sit down. It cost $80.00 to get in to the event. Must say they had a lot of young stuff in tight skimpy outfits, high heels, and a lot of chest/rack to droole over. It was so crouded it became troublesom for people to take photographs. Not bragging, but I would estimate some 20 people took pictures with me, and of what I was wearing. I found a nice comfortable leather sofa to sit on in one corner. It was just next a long line of people wateing in turn to be photographed with some hot porn star. While there, another 3 people with real nice professoinal cameras ask if I mind if they took my picture. One woman spacificaly said she wanted just the boots and spurs. I didn't care--I live for this. I walked around another room of beauties, porn stars, etc. and decided I had had enough. When I first arrived that morning I was the last to be able to Valet park. When I left, waiting for my rental I got distracted. When in a loud voice I hear," Hay Mr. Spurs." I look up and 4 valet drivers were looking my way. Smiling. Truth is they were interested in my attire, heels / spurs. They ask questions about them. I talked and answered thair questions, gave them one of my stiletto name card and left. -------- Now time to fly home. Same deal of wearing high heels through the airport. My boarding pass number was C-30. as I comes time to line up to board, I am standing behind a tall thin beautiful young woman. I said " I like your boots " she said " I like your shoes too " Her name is Amy. Going home to Ohio to visit family. So what do you do here in Las Vegas ? I ask. It turns out that she is a choris girl in the stage show of JUBILEE at Bally's Casino. This girl is just as, or, Hotter than the girls I saw Saturday. BOO, the plane was full and I was unable to sit with her on the flight home. -------If your interested in wearing high heels, WEAR THEM. You would be surprised how accepting some people can be. spikesmike

Can I come along too? I've always wanted to strut in heels through security and aboard a plane.

I have been to Vegas many times and the only shoes I brought / wore were high heels. Like other places, some folks notice, but most don't notice or care. I have gotten a few comments from both men and women, some curious as to why a guy would be wearing heels, but all were complimentary or encouraging. It's fun to be out in heels, I enjoy it a lot!!! Especially in Vegas!! take care all, sf

Mike, the TSA at CMH should be getting used to seeing guys in heels. I travel weekly for work and that's my home airport. I regularly go thru in some sort of heels, although not stilleto heeled boots! I tend toward the current trend of riding boots or heeled western style boots. And I make the trip to Vegas regularly. I was out there the week before and after the AVNs; had hoped to be there that week but got pushed back. I agree that Vegas is a great place to go heeling. So much activity, such an international crowd, that walking around in heels is one of the least attention-getting things for a guy to do. Maybe I'll see you around the Southwest gates some day!
