What Happened To The Shoe Titles?

Actually "many" would be an exaggeration. Some would be more accurate. The real reason is some people seem to not know the difference between a persons user id and their ranking, mostly newbies.

That was a bad idea from the start. The Ugg should be given to the ones that post no more than a grunt and the Croc is a good name for the ones that are full of shit, But somehow the placement of that word really did make it look like a user name. The thing that helped me not to fall into that trap was by that time I knew some of the avatars.

Getting rid of that feature was the best thing for this forum. It was a put-down to new comers and was the equivalent to fraternity hazing. I'm really glad it's gone. We need to do everything we can to unite us, not divide us. Steve

I've been aware of it for quite some time, but we wanted to make sure it wasn't just isolated incidents. When it started happening again and again it was time for it to go.
