Curt
Are the shoe ranks with regards to number of posts no more? Ex- comfy loafer, uggs.
jdmonto
There was a long post about it, many people where unhappy wiht the uggs title particullary and how long it was to advance (myself included), so finally they deactivated them.
Shafted
Actually "many" would be an exaggeration. Some would be more accurate. The real reason is some people seem to not know the difference between a persons user id and their ranking, mostly newbies. Shafted, the boots that is! Dr. Shoe
Yes. People often referred to previous posters by their rank they'd say things like: "I agree with Barefoot's post..." etc. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects. meganiwish
Yes, but when Amanda did it, it was funny. It tickled me, anyway.
Mike Hinch
That was a bad idea from the start. The Ugg should be given to the ones that post no more than a grunt and the Croc is a good name for the ones that are full of shit, But somehow the placement of that word really did make it look like a user name. The thing that helped me not to fall into that trap was by that time I knew some of the avatars.
Steve63130
Getting rid of that feature was the best thing for this forum. It was a put-down to new comers and was the equivalent to fraternity hazing. I'm really glad it's gone. We need to do everything we can to unite us, not divide us. Curt
Thanks guys, for informing me of the changes. I would not want to have the title "uggs" for any length of time! Maybe stripper heels or 10" pumps. Clarissa.
Gudulitooo
Shafted, I didn't say anything about that because I was sure the admins would finally be aware of this small problem. So I think much more people were annoyed with this.
Shafted
I've been aware of it for quite some time, but we wanted to make sure it wasn't just isolated incidents. When it started happening again and again it was time for it to go. Shafted, the boots that is!
