Curt Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Maybe, but I like them because they don't hurt my ankles. I have bad tendonitis in my ankles from years of running track in track spikes.
inquisitor Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I guess you call it that. They average about 1-1.5 inches. Can't discount a platform, too, especially on the Shox Classic CL. A Man's Shoe Obsession: A blog of a man who loves high heels and women's shoes. http://amaninheels.tumblr.com/
Dr. Shoe Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Yes. They could hardly be described as a high heel. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Steve63130 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 They are certainly not what most people think of when they think of high heels. Steve
Marion Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) The heel is a part of every shoe (except maybe for heelless shoes like discussed here). "Low", "High", this is relative. So... it's neither true nor false to say such shoes have a low heel... Edited September 3, 2012 by Marion My shoe collection album
Marion Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Nike shox are very sexy... Errrr... I completely disagree with that. Sport shoes are a complete turn-off for me But that's just my taste My shoe collection album
Curt Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Maybe wear shox with lululemon pants and go to starbucks. Just like all the other girls do!!
stw8 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I've owned a pair of Nike Shox, as well as Adidas Bounce shoes. The running shoe lines in particular, tend to have a little more lift for the cushioning aspect. So, I'd agree with the 1" lift.
